Anyone been to King Tuts before?
Going on Wednesday to see The Wonder Year and want to know what is Tuts like?

Pleased with that. I presume that's what Comptons wages are being used for, who's due back in January.
Exactly what he said mate, said Compton leaving has freed up a wee bit of money for him to use.

Posted it in the transfers thread but might be seen more here.
Pressley told press after the match tonight that Weatherston will sign till January this week.

Feck. I actually bought the tickets from gigsandtours.com who didn't specify which area of standing the tickets are for but I had previously tried Ticketmaster who said there were no downstairs tickets left, so I'm assuming my tickets are for upstairs. Do you think there's any chance the tickets I bought are for downstairs?
The Academy only has one standing bit, with a standing ticket you'll get right down to the stage, not really sure why they list some as upper standing. They just scan your ticket and you get through to the bar bit, there is a bit there for standing but no one stops you going right down to the stage. The only time you would get directed up stairs is if you have a seating or balcony ticket.
As for gigs coming up for me -
Got New Found Glory next month, then The Wonder Years at King Tuts, really excited for both of them.
36 Crazyfists in Dundee in October, seen them a couple of times before, always put on a good show.
A Day to Remember have just let slip they have a UK tour in November away to be announced as well so will be getting tickets for that as well as soon as they are out.

Perhaps someone should explain to Colin McMenamin that fans like to know what their and their rivals' clubs are forking out on wages, it helps us understand who are taking gambles or cutting back, how to set expectations and who to expect challenging at season's end (seeing as money is strongly linked to success in club football at most levels).
You'd think after experiencing administration time after time he'd be all for financial accountability with the fans.
What a load of nonsense.
Why should it be Colin or any other players responsibility to look after the finances of the club he plays for.

Isn't he a winger? Can't say we really need one of those.
He was when he was with us and St. Johnstone but played up front for Arbroath and scored 22 goals last season.

Not seen it posted anywhere on here but Falkirk have shown an interest in Gavin Swankie which has stopped him signing on again at Arbroath.
"I was all set to sign a new deal with Arbroath," Swankie said last night. "Then my agent phoned me to say that there had been contact from Falkirk who are keen to sign me."For that to happen though, I think they need to trim their existing playing staff and they are looking to do that this weekend.
"So, I face an anxious wait until Monday to discover if that has happened and whether they will follow-up their initial interest.
"I have always been honest with Arbroath that I want to go full-time again.

Yeah I've seen them at several venues across Glasgow but they completely blew me away at the Garage. People slag me off for being 23 and still listening to Pop-Punk but NFG are one of those bands that instantly make me happy.
Haha I'm 23 and listen to pop punk everyday, still wear my dickies and generally dress like I'm in blink 182 (my favourite band by the way).
No shame in it. Pop punk makes me happy which is needed on my way to and from work.

Oh ya dancer
My favourite live band,
They were superb last time they played the garage. I've seen them in much bigger places but the small venue is where they are best.

Probably a stupid question but -
I am due to be paid on the last day of the month (Monday). Alot of people have told me that certain banks will not put money in on a Monday and instead this should go in tomorrow (Saturday).
Does anyone know if this is true? Seems like shite to me.
And if it is does anyone know if this will be true for Royal Bank customers?

Went to see Sepultura last night in Dundee, didn't know any of their stuff before and not really the sort of band i would listen to normally but they were pretty good. Everyone was going mental for the majority of it.
Next two gigs will be Blink in Aberdeen and Glasgow, can't wait.
