Spot on in a lot that you say.
Sadly it doesn't extend to much of the Morton support. The chairman has helped two managers bring in players above and beyond the budget they had set in the summer as well as paying off others to leave the club. On top of that we're running at a loss of around £300,000 per annum.
Despite all of this, many of the fans have lobbed really despicable insults at the Rae in recent months. I appreciate that it's easier for a fan of another club to provide a dispassionate and therefore more balanced assessment of Morton and that the fans I mention above may be too close and emotionally involved with the club to do that at times.
However, one of the duties of a fan is to support and be fair and that hasn't been the case this season. Indeed the biggest criticism of Rae may be that he's been too loyal. The loyalty he's showed to Alan Moore and to the club and Inverclyde in his investment in both.
This year has been as frustrating as it has surprising which is a combustible mix but we'd be far worse off without the chairman. And we may well see that sooner rather than later and then these fans will know what a bad time really is.

As embarrassing as that result today is, it will be the thing that saves our season if it gets Moore bagged. With a decent manager is charge we have a decent shot of staying up, but if Moore stays we will be packing out bucket and spade for our away games next season.
As long as Dougie is in charge there is no chance of us getting a decent manager.

This is totally out of the blue[pun intended].Indeed as cappie points out this is last chance saloon for Moore.The way I see it is that it can't be any worse than what we have just now.I wonder if he will go straight into the team for Saturday's game.Just when you thought it was all over.

I couldn't get off work yesterday,When I got home I tuned in to open all mics.I couldn't believe the shit that Chic Dung was coming away with.He kept calling our keeper Carrol ?,When we got the pen he was saying it's a pen to celtic !!!!!!.How this diddy is ever allowed near a radio station is beyond belief.Anyway onwards and upwards now.Surly this has got to kick start our season.Tremendous result.

If our esteemed owner had decided to actually improve on last years squad instead of tearing it apart with wage cuts,we probably wouldn't be in the position

Really to early to call how it will all pan out,The skunks game should give us an indication of the team Moore will be settling on.I expect Dundee,Raith,Queens,to be there or thereabouts.at the end of the season.If the foreign legion gel quickly we should be in with a shout for the playoffs at least.Then again it could all turn to ratshit.

I was more impressed with yesterdays performance,Luck was against us when it came to finishing.The skunks game next week should see Moore with the lineup he more or less wants to go with for the season.Early days to tell what we will be really like,glorified kickabouts don't really tell you hee haw.What is clear if we lost Fred we would be really fucked.Nice sendoff for Peter.
