I get the vibe Murray doesn't want to spunk whatever budget he has on O'Reilly if Watson is close to returning and/or can't guarantee O'Reilly playing time when Watson returns. He was essentially signed short term purely to tide us over until Watson returned which I'm guessing Murray thought would be around this time. How far away Watson is though is anyone's guess. If Murray was desperate to keep him then surely we're the most attractive option - knows the club, players, manager, potential to help get team promoted. Unless a Prem team comes knocking, is he Prem quality? Probably not. With Matthews back Murray has option of putting Brown at the back until Watson is available (not that I agree with that) . Risky as we don't know if Dundee will recall Byrne.
I don't think Easton will leave in January however have heard murmurings he's had a good offer from a Prem club with a view to signing when his contract expires dependent what league we're in.
The rest I can't see teams coming in for and I don't actually think we'll look to move others on either.

Seen that, not a nice watch at all. The group in question stupidly posted a group photo of themselves without having the clout to blur their faces. Can imagine it won't take long before folk find out who they are.

Murray chanced Watson against Airdrie and we've not seen him since. Hopefully history doesn't repeat itself with big Kev. He dived about 3 days after the ball hit the net.

Actually surprised there wasn't more of an uproar about folk sitting where they wanted as I'd imagine the folk that bought restricted view tickets probably chanced sitting somewhere else. I ended up in a different seat and row altogether. Also interesting that the youngsters were refused entry with their drum yet Dundee Utd fans had one.

Seen a stat on X from Ruaridgh Kilgour. At this same stage last season Dundee were on 28 points. The previous season Killie were on 29. We're sitting on 39.

We've probably flown under the radar a bit up until now. I was quite enjoying us just quietly going about our business and whilst others might revel in the fact we're being spoken about in such good terms I much prefer hearing heehaw plaudits from the media. Selfishly I feel it puts a lot of our players and/or manager in the shop window almost as well as ramping pressure on the team. If we are to mount a decent title fight the pressure will naturally come mind you. Next wee while is going to be interesting.
