  1. Think we over estimated the quality of the European games to convince ourselves we had a very good team, I was included in this.

Then there was the last minute winner against Hearts, now we also see how rank they are.

I still believe we have a good squad but there is just something missing, not sure what it is but if we find it, then I still believe we can go on and have a good season.

  2. Fully expect all 3 teams to win next week, not sure if the Dons will do enough to get through but should be an exciting night.

3 wins would take us above the points that had dropped off, lets hope all 3 can do the business.

  3. Overall a good round for the Scottish teams, we should have had 6 wins though but all three are through and at least managed to get points in each game played.

Next round will be tough but it is a possibility that all 3 go through, could also go the other way and only be left with Celtic in EL Playoff.

  4. Been fairly good so far this season, disappointing not to get a win for the Dons last night but expect them the win the home game.

You would expect 3 wins next week which would set us up nicely.

3rd round will be tough for Aberdeen and Rangers though.

Oh ffs.  'Profile of the League'!  What does that even mean?  Who do you want to take a greater interest in our domestic competitions, and why do you care if they do?

It really is impossible.  We've got the game we deserve, when so many mindlessly accept a nonsensical media narrative wholesale.

    So what's your solution then?

It not difficult to work out the more marketable the league is (our teams being in the European competition later stages and being a little competitive) brings in money to the league through sponsorship and TV deals. Nothing changes within our game as it just evens itself out but we can at least have better teams to try and have a decent run in Europe.

The other way things change is by serious investment into one of the clubs, we have been waiting for that ever since it started down south, we are still waiting.

  6. For me, I want all Scottish teams to do well in Europe.

There is a balance to it all, yes Rangers and Celtic get more money the further they go in the competition but with that the profile of the league goes up and that brings in extra cash for everyone.

Of course doesn't mean we are going to challenge but it does mean better standard of players and games, also a chance to keep some of the younger players which go down to lower league teams in England for the money.

  7. Been a good season for Rangers, another good win last night. Celtic have been shite all season, still managed to beat us though :(

Sure both teams will add to the points we already have, big 2 games for Rangers now, 4 points from the 2 games and I think they will then qualify for knock outs.

  8. After this weeks fixtures we have matched the 3.25 points that will drop off next season, so anything gained now is an improvement.

Aberdeen didn't have much chance in their tie.

Hibs out in 3rd qualifying round, basically what the Dons have achieved in last few years.

Celtic have been poor so far but you'd expect them to win their next tie and get in group stages.

Rangers done well, good chance of winning their next tie and also being in the group stages.

Seems the non OF teams really struggle to get past 3rd round ties, Unless there is more funding in the game then don't know how the non OF clubs are going to get in to that playoff and beyond.

  9. Another good week for Scotland in Europe.

Was always going to be hard for the Dons, I thought we would have got points for a draw after 90mins but seems its been put down as a loss.

Expected Celtic to go through but good wins for Hibs and Rangers.

  10. Decent game, enjoy watching on RedTV.

Other than the goal our defence was solid enough, too many WBA players free in the box, even with a fantastic save from Joe, nothing he could do about the rebound.

Midfield looked good, at times the movement and passing was very good and the new guys have fitted it very well.

Cosgrove done well as the one striker, took his goal very well and on this performance has shown he can be an assist to the team going forward.

I think given the squad we already have, we should easily finish in top 4, this is not enough though. I think we still need 5 players to have a real good go this season.

Striker to replace and improve on Rooney, should be good enough to be a starter

Winger who can push current guys for starting place

    Cen Defender as cover

    Right back as cover
