Gutted not to win today. Strange game, should have won in the end but Strathspey had a chance just before half time to go up 2-0, scored that then it could have been game over. Missed a few sitters first half.

Still, two games, two wins, two clean sheets. Could be worse.

It was easier 10 years ago,.

Aye Strathy Jags relegated for me.
Hoping Vale improve on their 14th place finish last season.
Here’s hoping.
Good result for Turra first game, seen Huntly play Rothes next to Borough Briggs a few weeks back they looked decent enough.

Only someone who'd never been to Cowdenbeath could say that.
I’ve been.
Its similar to Dingwall.

I would rather have Cowdenbeath and Bonnyrigg instead of BOD.
Its good to have some new away days, hopefully make Brechin away when the new season starts.

I talked to one of the Buckie blazers, wasn't keen on promotion as he'd heard from Peterhead officials that they don't get welcomed to the board room for free drinks and sandwiches in the SPFL. Clach missed 2 open goals, thought it was pretty even for the first half.
Last Vale/Buckie game Buckie fans were chucking litter on the canal bank, one guy was even asked why he never used the bin which was 2 feet in front of him, he just mouthed back, funnily enough the same guy was moaning towards stewards at half time and Vale fans at full time. Was it him you were speaking too?

2000+ easy.......
The Broch is a good sized town, also theyve been advertising it well too.
Was at that game 20 years ago when they beat us 2-1 to win the league. Game was played on a Wednesday night, crowd was well over 3000, we took down close to a 1000. If they had played it on a Saturday they would have probably had to turn fans away. Great atmosphere on the night, absolute scenes when we took the lead and some roar went up when they took the lead at 2-1, molby had a goal disallowed when we went up 1-0 which should never have been disallowed. Went along to see them clinch the title at Cove hoping Cove would do us a favour. Was a bigger crowd at the Vale/Broch title decider in 2002 than the Vale/Buckie decider in 2011.

There's no way both Buckie and the Broch will carry this on into next season
How do you know that, do you have a crystal ball?

Well done Fort.

They will be blaming the ref again.

The tag of ‘worst team in Britain’ was a sham from the word go. They’d a boy up from FourFourTwo to do a piece on them the day they hosted Lossie in September 2018, and Lossie - then on zero points and rebuilding the team from almost scratch via youth players - were only above Fort due to Fort’s admin error earlier in the season that saw them docked nine points. They’d actually drawn a pair of games since then and Lossie were in a hell of a state (P10, L10), something the 442 boy seemed surprised to learn when he spoke to the Lossie support, his editor seemingly having laid on thick the WTIB bit.
The club lie about the length of a losing/winless run to anyone who’d listen - presumably going without a win for just the 700+ days wasn’t as big a story as the 800+ Fort were telling whoever phoned the social club - was bizarre. What kind of a boast is it to be the worst?
Four years on from that game (Lossie won 3-4 after an injury-time winner that followed an injury-time leveller from Fort) Lossie have since patched themselves up a bit and kicked their way up the pile. Still work to do for next season, starting on Saturday. Fort? Got their picture in the papers a few times, and Ken from Southend is still promising on Facebook he’ll go to a game one day. One day.
The boy from FourFourTwo should cart his arse back up and look into how Fort have done business this season. Complete mess.
I never realised folk still read 4-4-2.
Same ones probably watch Soccer AM as well.

No complaints about the result tonight.
Clach were the better team and created more chances.
Thats 4 games in 2 weeks I’ve been too and we have lost them all.
Safe journey home to the Clach fans that made the long journey through.

This will of course be amended as and when missing results come in. James Meadows sent me a spreadsheet of all Fraserburgh's matches so I'll be working through that over the next day or so.
Only cup we have never won. Would be interesting to see how many times we have been in the final.
Was at the Forres game in 2001, Keith game in 2003 and Cove game in 2005, lost them all.
Keith game was bonkers, was 3-0 down, pulled it back to 2-3, Molby missed a pen at 2-3 right at the death, if he had scored we would have won that game, brilliant atmosphere that day.

Was at Kynoch Park yesterday for Keith v Fort
At 1-1 thought Fort were the better team for a spell even though they were down to 10 men.
But once Keith got a pen and converted it,added by another red for Fort it was game over.........
Fort looked for long periods of the game like a bunch of jobbers cobbled together to make a football team, which of course they are !!
Keith 3 Fort 1
The relegation battle next season could be interesting.

Deveronvale away seemed like the most sparsely attended Saturday 3pm game I've been to this season. I'd say there was barely 100 people there. That can possibly be caveated by it being a thoroughly dreich December day at the height of a Covid surge.
I don't think Nairn home attendances have dropped too much from pre-pandemic, with the notable exception of last Saturday when very few folk hung around for the late kick off.
Forres at home this season the crowd was under 100, that was just after Turriff United beat us 6-0, that was the lowest crowd I had seen since a midweek cup game against Nairn which Nairn won 2-1 after extra time, 2017 I think. Forres and Nairn never took much of a support.
I was at the Nairn/Vale game at the start of the season and must say it’s the biggest home support I’ve seen from Nairn, was a good crowd.
During the lockdowns we still turned out, 20-30 watched from the road when we played Keith, some even used step ladders, had my step ladder looked out for an away game to Buckie which got called off.

It's tough going being a Vale fan currently when taking in the Banffshire derby,as we're poor right now and they are flying......,unfortunately
It always was tough being a Vale fan before the glory days in the early noughties.
Finished bottom of the league when I started following them, so seen it all before, was no relegation back then though.

Games that mattered .......
Fraserburgh 5 Wick 0
Deveronvale 0 Buckie 4
Brechin 2 Brora 1
Inverurie 2 Fort 0
Turra 3 Forres 2
Rothes 2 Strathy 3 (Strathspey scored a last gasp winner)
Took in the Vale/Buckie game, did well the first 20 minutes, Buckie scored then took control of the game.
Was not much singing from the away support which outnumbered the home support 3 to 1.
Cracking day, topped my sun tan up while enjoying the banter on the canal bark.
Hopefully get back to winning ways against Huntly on Wednesday night

The ref we had today had a good game.
I hope the ref we get next week sides with the home side, will need all the luck we can get.
