  1. I find this Robbie McCrorie situation very strange on Rangers behalf. If it's true and he's off to Livi, that's him played for two clubs in a season. Surely if anything major happened to McGregor and Fotheringham it would of been easy enough to recall him back from Queens to replace any of there keepers. It just doesn't add up on their part. And if he's going to Livi it would need to be as there No 1, not sit on the bench and lose guaranteed game time, which he's getting currently at Queens.
Then Livingston's wouldn't be able to play him against his parent club for the rest of the season as well.

  2. I'm incredulous he somehow gave Ayr a free kick for that. Muirhead has an arm around Oliver's neck and throws him to the ground. At least one of the officials has to see that. I presume the free kick was eventually given for Oliver holding Muirhead on the ground though. It also appears as if Muirhead is accusing Oliver of having bitten him or something when he gets up. He certainly shows the referee his arm.
Pleased Gary Oliver didn't bite Muirhead. He'd of caught thrush from the Fanny.
  3. Derek Young didn't have a history of injuries as far as I recall or spend more time out injured than he did playing though.
Never mentioned Paton in my post. It's all about the doom and gloom. Give the bloke a chance to get a squad together, with his budget it can't be easy. If he can match some of the performance s when he was here the last time, that'll do for me.
  4. I remember Allan Johnston recieving a fair few negative comments about signing a certain Derek Young during his first transfer window. That came back to bite them, without a shadow of a doubt. The best thing would be let him get on with it under his restricted transfer budget. Hopefully he can find another few like Young.

  5. What was the team?
Six of the bench started from last night against Motherwell. Leighfield, Bell, Murray, Tremble, Watson and Harvey. Also playing was Exley. Queens just shaded it in the first half, but after the break Mids dominated and scored twice before Queens equalised in the last few minutes.
Going by this performance, they definitely need to get a few in to strengthen the squad.
  6. Dykes doesn't cut it at this level. Looked okay against lower league teams in the cups, but nowhere near the championship level. A loan spell with the likes of Annan and then a look at him in pre-season again would be the best way to go forward with Dykes. Maybe try and swap with Aiden Smith whom the manager never gave a chance, which in my humble opinion was a mistake.
