  1. Just out of interest, assuming that Rangers are promoted back to the top flight next season. How many failed attempts at winning the title would you say is acceptable for Warbonnet to have before being moved on?

If he fails to come at least second in his first season back in the top flight would this be considered as failure and could he survive this?

Edit to Note: Warburton changed to Warbonnet in auto correct.

P.S. Before you Bears try to make this out that I'm a Celtic fan scared of Warburton, its not. Just interested to judge where your levels of expectation are.

  2. I like this comment Murray said: “I think the figure we will need is somewhere between £15-20million to get back into the Premiership and Europe.

How much did it cost St. Johnstone and hopefully ICT to achieve both?.

Then maybe Hearts might achieve both Championship title and European qualification in two seasons, for how much?

ICT turnover multiplied by years in the top division.... So 3.5mil roughly x 5 seasons. Id put that as about £15-£20million.

Sorry for pissing in your tea but seems like a reasonable guesstimate.

However this is Sevco... so the likelyhood of fuckwittery may significantly increase that number.

  3. I've still to see anybody produce a half decent outline of what Dave King will do if he does manage to win the vote on Friday. Is there an actual plan and if not why the clapping seal routine?

It seems to me that he may get in but quite quickly become a bit of a lame duck due to the contracts, debts and securities currently held against the club. /i also wouldn't rule out Mr King doing similar things to Charles Green. Say all the "right things" and do a bit of saber rattling with the fan meanwhile smuggling his own pound of flesh out the back door with some of his cronies.

  4. The best one for me has got got to be the boycott of Dundee Unt away organised by one of the many Rangers supporters clubs, only for the main protagonist of the boycott to be pictured at the match.

Also I would love to find a copy of Jim Spence's BBC Scotland "interview" with Jim Traynor where he made a complete cnut of him on the way into the match. I'v tried to find it loads of times but think it has somehow managed to escape the internet. :(

  5. I've said before, I couldn't give a f*ck mate as long as we've got a team on the park. I would gladly take going back there if it meant having to start again to get rid of these bast*rds currently running amok in the boardroom.

In the meantime our list of honours, remains proudly intact, even if takes another ten years to add to it.

    Follow We Will !

Don't think there will be a scramble to take your 3rd and 2nd division titles off of you.

  6. Left it too late before deciding i was going and not finding any luck finding spares, could anyone recommend my chances of getting a ticket if i head to Glasgow for about half 3? Most people saying to just go for it but i might get ripped off or even worse not get one and make a wasted journey

If you head through to chance your arm your best bet is to get to the gates next to the tunnel under the north stand. There is usually someone selling a ticket around there

  7. Good luck to both teams, gutted that I'm missing the game due to work.

Also I strangely agree with the sentiment that cup finals are better without OF involvement (even though i'm a Celtic fan). I always think it gives our game more credibility that teams outside the OF can be competitive at least in the cup tournaments, and also generates that wee bit of romance and magic that is sadly too often missing or talked down in our game.

PS: Looking for odds on who will be spotted by the cameras first, Ewan McGregor or Lorraine Kelly????
