Aussie keeper had a serious mare. No idea what he's even trying at the 3rd goal. Big downgrade from Siegrist but they've improved elsewhere and should still be good for a top 5/6 finish.

Can't believe some of the comments  re the keeper .

He was poor for a couple of crosses,  one lead to the goal. But he made at least 4 excellent saves. If could easily have been 10- 0. Give the guy a break. The outfield players were terrible and left him well exposed.  I admit his decision making could have been better at times. Its early days so wouldn't right him off just yet

Always said that "Poser Jack" can't manage a game In  Progress and that was a perfect example

Mind a couple of weeks ago Ross was actually being suggested as a replacement for Lennon.

Ross has to be one the most fortunate overrrated managers in football, 8nherited a pretty good squad at st mirren , the same at Sunderland and similar at hibs.

unfortunately does not know how to win a game in progress

Reckon most of them are low shots?
Sure someone on here had mentioned they thought a lot of his issues were he couldn't react to low shots quick enough, first goal probably a really good example of that.

The worst example was Cosgrove for Aberdeen in the game we ended up with nine men. I swear Zander was still diving for it when Hendry was getting shown the red card in the second half. And the ref thought Callum was fucking late???

must admit he's absolutely rubbish and says he's prepared to put off his wedding for the Euros

Hearts have had a lot of criticism over the years for financial mismanagement

Hearts have also had a lot of criticism over the years from people who think Hearts should give the product away for buttons

Maybe these people could just argue amongst themselves

Leyfield shows all the enthusiasm of an outfield who doesn't want to play his turn in goals

Signing Kidd does feel like swapping Doyle but with a more attacking but pea hearted version.  I can’t say I’m that pleased signing any Falkirk squad player that has been there for the two seasons they have been stinking.

Lee Robinson has consistently been found out every time he has played in the second tier. He has a body of work at this level and you know what you are getting and it is not significantly better than Martin.

I think you should be in management ,maybe ladies clothes or similar

I am in the camp where Lee Robinson in his last season at Palmy not any better than Alan Martin. But season  under Johnston was really good. Maybe something else we can blame Naysmith for is the poor form of our goalies.

There's not a chance of Robinson returning after the abuse he got during his last stint

Isn't it awfully when you at something and people don't understand the point your trying to make .
To explain part time is ok for some but it depends who you are

I can hardly make sense of that sentence, let alone any point you're trying to make.

    Yes doesn't read very well

I meant isn't it awful when people don't understand the point you're making.

To clarify part time is ok for some ,if you are a superstar concessions can be arranged but no for most

It's funny that as it worked absolutely fine the end of last season and doesn't seem to effect Stephen Dobbies game.
There's a boat load of professional footballers who don't train everyday because they can't due to age, ongoing injuries and to look after them .
Crawford is using this as a reason which he doesn't have to do as it's his preference.

Please don't compare yourself to Stephen Dobbie, Robbo. You're miles apart in terms of quality.

Yes, hence why he's never done one for us.

Look great on Instagram, but if you kick a ball with as low a trajectory as that there's a solid chance it's getting intercepted.

I think it's worth invaluable when you have players in space hence he tries to release the ball early , but as you've seen he has trouble with the opposition stopping him from doing that

Plus I'm not to sure the players are up to it certainly doesn't look like anyone wants the ball at all

Part time players in a full time team is beyond stupid and an obvious disadvantage. It's not really the same as working part time hours in an office is it? As a football player you all train together through the week to get better as a team so that you can go out as a team on the Saturday and work well together. I can see why this would have disadvantages now, don't know why I didn't think of it before.

“I have come into a situation through no fault of Lee. He is on a part time contract and if we want to do work earlier in the week, and modern day football goalkeepers have a big part in that. Hence the reason of bringing Ryan in. It makes it more competitive as well for the club."

So how does it make it more competitive if Robinson isn't on the bench or maybe not at the club.

    What a load of baelarics

If that's the case let's do away with part time employment for every job.

The gaffer using it as an excuse , it's always considered a sign weakness having to explain your activities ,time will tell

As others have said, surely this means at least 1 of our current keepers are off.

If not it's a daft signing.

I shouldn't have to be stated, but just because we've signed him doesn't mean the management/coaches (whatever the term is) aren't looking to sign a striker or a player in any other position. I understand some people are disgracefully moronic, but you can be looking at various players at the same time, and can be negotiating with more than player at a time.

Maybe so but they could have had twice as much money at there disposal

Murdoch is finished and I don't think Robinson is actually arsed. He's more interested in leaving elbows and kicks on opposition players or winding up their fans. Great when you're 2-4 up away to Falkirk but he's a risk. Gill can't be as good as some let on as we keep bringing in more experienced keepers.

Of courses he's arsed ,you're playing for your own pride.

It's pathetic to think that a footballer wouldnt care

So Celtic now have 3 International goalies plus Dorus de Vries with both Scott Bain and Conor Hazard making their international debut's this weekend.  Congrats to both Bain and young Hazard, who I would expect to spend a year on loan somewhere this year, hopefully in the Premiership in order to develop and press for a first team place next year.

How Bain ever got a cap with this in his back catalogue amazes me
