And Haddington have admitted they didnt properly check the list. Those desperate to use this as a stick to beat those clubs that have improved their lot by moving are having a mare.

BTW I can see the improvement of Boness , Dundonald , and Haddington, apparently when you go Senior you forget how to read .

Not desperate, I only COPIED an article from EOS and posted it , what dont you like about that ?

To be honest though I dont see the improvement in a lot of the clubs you speak of.

The funny thing is that you pro pyramid guys love to talk about Junior business but take real offence when junior fans dare to mention the Eos , btw the post above were the words of the EOS , not mine.

Both clubs failed to properly consult the comprehensive list of player suspensions produced by the SFA and the eos league..... Let's not use two clubs making a James blunt of it to further a narrative about the eos........ Clubs at fault, not the league, the grade or the sfa.

There must be some sort of communication breakdown somewhere, I cant remember any team winning a trophy in the juniors without having to play a final ?

Both these clubs should know the rules as they will be similar to the juniors regards suspensions , and should know where to look ...shouldnt they ? , it also happened to Dundonald Bluebell .

Read Dundonald Facebook judging by the responses is just excuses. Wanting a hearing they played a banned player. The player shold have known he was banned. We had to check when we had 2 players sent off in juniors carried over. 1 incident makes eosfl unprofessional years of f**k ups in the juniors is alright

Now now , don’t get touchy, I am merely pointing out that not every team is happy with the way things are dealt with, you really have turned gamekeeper 8)

I'd like to see the rest of East come over so we can settle down. I'd like west to come over but I won't lose sleep if they put the grade before better organisation for the same teams as it would be for them. For us we have new teams a few good and the rest will get a level where they aren't taking tankings. Futures bright futures eosfl even if it ends up only licensing winners of leagues which may happen still for me the organisation of the leagues are far superior

Unlike the Cups, where they announce the draw and then tell a team they have been kicked out...Dundonald Bluebell ?

We'll just have to wait and see but it will be Talbot that will tell me , not posters on Pie and Bovril

That goes without saying, are you looking forward to it? TJ seems confident.

If it has to be it has to be, but my answer would be no if the results in the EOS are anything to go by.

It is what it is. Anything worthwhile to add? Talbot looking forward to senior football next season?

I generally post when there's something useful to say, but the crayon munchers appear to have piled in regardless after a few good posts particularly from G4Mac and Ginaro.

Contribute when there's something useful to add to the debate or ignore it.

Is the bottom line telling me what to do on the juniors forum or telling me thats what you do ?

I thought this thread had gone , shame the only reason its restarted is for the pyramid boys to have another dig at the junIors, I take it the LL and EOS  forums arent exciting enough for you

Quite the opposite, discussion on the future of the Junior game is ongoing by those who are interested whilst the usual suspects either ask why the thread still exists - a stupid question - or come out with crayon munching shite. It typifies the Junior mentality really.

there were no posts on here for 14 days and the first one back was just having a dig at the juniors, and even you havent posted for a few weeks on here, and that one is also having a dig at us poor crayon munchers with our junior mentality, as I said no other reason but to have a dig, obviously there are a lot of members on here who dont have an interest or there wouldnt have been such a gap in posts.

This was answered weeks ago. All clubs whether existing or newcomers will start at tier 6 next season and the EoS will be split into regionalised divisions for one transitional season with the top finishing clubs in 18/19 entering into a 16 team top flight division in 19/20 and the rest being at tier 7 in pyramid terms.

    Is that definite ?

A bit premature AM at the moment all clubs  are still members  of the quickly dimishing SJFA, then we can leave the thread to the west region and a saviour with the acronym AJ. The EoS have also to confirm the numbers of clubs accepted into their league(s).

    Will you miss us?

Quickly diminishing ERSJFA,  it will be interesting where all these teams fit in to the leagues, will it be by who jumped first or by finishing order in the junior leagues, I would imagine the existing teams in the EOSL will want to retain their place in the top league so not much room for junior teams ?

I will miss playing against some of the top East teams in the junior cup but they have decided to leave so thats it.

Do you think the future's rosy for the 85% or so remaining?

To be honest I havent  a clue what will happen, personally I thought we were going along ok and didnt see all this coming a year ago , so who knows, what I do think is that the later teams to move have panicked and left in fear of being " left behind".

If it does have to happen in the West I only hope it will be done en mass and not fragmented like it has been in the East.

Great comeback. Feel free to highlight any of my posts if you want to take issue with them.

As I'm sure you're aware this is an internet forum which facilitates all sorts of debate, there are no rules over which particular topics you can and cannot contribute to.  Sad thing is, there's very little positive input from those who come from the "pro-Junior" viewpoint.  You identify yourself as a Talbot fan and your post follows a particular trend of other Talbot fans, hence the mention.

So rather than tell posters what to post on the forum, if the debate is not your cup of tea, don't open the topic and read it.

That is the difference, I dont have time to sit all day sifting through posts like you .

BTW I didnt TELL anybody what to post , I asked the question , another difference gladly between you and me, and I hate to sound like Goudie but I also dont sit and press green and red dots all day dependant on whether somebody agrees with me or not.

I have to go out now , please may I leave the room ?

My Team : Auchinleck  Talbot, what else would you be doing here other than giving your viewpoint as a Talbot fan.

I am a fan of the juniors, as I said I live in Bonnyrigg and I'm disappointed they are leaving as well but I dont go on and on about it , that is their decision as they see best for their club, which is exactly my point , why dont you guys leave other teams to make that same decision on what is best for them ?

  15. Why the capitals, another attempt at shouting down anyone with an opinion different to yours

I have already said I enjoy junior football as it is and cant really see the attraction of the oft quoted benefits you talk of. Is that a crime ?

It would also be hypocritical of me to start ranting and raving about the juniors when I am saying you guys need to give it a rest.

You like the pyramid , I like the juniors.

I have highlighted it for you, this follows on from another Talbot posters assertions that there is some sort of conspiracy, some sort of "campaign" to entice Junior clubs to move, and there is some sort of "anti-Junior propaganda"  war going on.  It's laughable nonsense.

So you think thats laughable, go back and read some of your posts.

I'll ask you this, your team have made the decision you want, why are you still jumping on anybody else who has an opinion different to yours ...cant you just be happy ?

Also why do you keep mentioning Talbot, I actually live in Bonnyrigg and have done for many years but I still follow Talbot, does that make me a spokesman for Talbot ?

  17. 14 minutes ago, Burnie_man said:

Some of the stuff being posted by Talbot contributors really is gobsmacking stuff, it's like they have got together and decided it's all some sort of conspiracy.  If you seriously think that posts on an internet forum have a major impact on clubs moving, you are being highly disrespectful to the clubs concerned who are more than capable of making a fact based decision for themselves. It's laughable nonsense that people genuinely believe that is the case!!

You aren't providing a differing view,  nobody has presented a differing view outlining the benefits of remaining Junior. You are absolutely free to do so, but nobody appears capable. Maybe we therefore just have to assume there are none.

Meanwhile, the SJFA remain silent as to what was the outcome of last weeks PWG meeting. If it was positive news we would have heard it by now.

What part of my post is laughable nonsense ?

The laughable nonsense is that you seem to be sitting like a vulture waiting to pounce on anyone who doesn’t toe the pyramid line.

I was making an observation , not talking pro or anti, and not talking on behalf of any team.
