  1. Been playing my way through a lot of the Nintendo switch online games. Snes and N64 stuff mostly. Great nostalgia but feels like there's a lot of big hitters not included. Waiting on Banjo Tooie and Perfect Dark for n64. Pity the early final fantasy games or Crono trigger aren't there. Maybe they'll get a full remaster like Super mario RPG

Clarke apparently wants Doak in the squad for the Euro's.

It's not a bad shout, just a shame he's been injured as he would've had a lot more games for liverpool in europa league and cups

Clarke took Patterson and Gilmour last time as youngsters.

Doak offers something different, skill and pace. He'll be in the squad at somepoint anyway if he continues to get games at high level so why not try him, especially with larger squads.

  3. Best - Probably Django unchained or inglorious basterds. Hadn't seen any Tarrantino films before watching Basterds and was blown away by Christoph Waltz, just a superb film. Django if anything i enjoyed more, Waltz again superb but Di Caprio and Samuel L Jackson also played great characters.

Worst - Star Wars the last Jedi or rise of skywalker. (can't remember which one which says a lot)

Was buzzing to watch it as the force awakens had a tonne of nostalgia which carried it,

Experience became an anticlimax when the movie crashed about 10 mins in then restarted for a minute then crashed again then the lights came on and about a half hour later it started again....from the start...then restarted from where we left off. Proper scunnered and then the film didn't live up to expectations anyway.

A feeling of much greater stability this time around though. With SC always seemed that he would move onto 'bigger' things and a case of enjoying the ride while it lasted.

Took too long to get Alessio in place when it appeared that SC would be going to Scotland in April (when McLeish was sacked). The length of time until the new appointment certainly didn't help the preparation for Connahs Quay.

This time surely DM will be around for longer and continue to build on what he has achieved so far, with a better chance of having a decent crack at the Euro games.

There was still plenty time from Alessio getting in till the nomads game. THe issue was 0 recruitment and hardly any warmup games prior to the game. The numbers in the building was still plenty to win that tie comfortably.

Although i agree with this time being more of a sound footing for the future. Many of the squad now are early to mid 20s. Likes of Mayo, Deas, Lyons, Magennis, Watson, Armstrong all still have space to improve. And the experienced heads Vassell, Donnelly, Polworth, Rory, Kennedy are still young enough that their legs have a good few years left. If we can tie up a findlay or ndaba for another year or more then that continuity is there provided we don't get too many bidders.

Not the most important issue but something worth discussing...

At most ground you'll have one empty stand where the camera is usually facing and when the game is live on TV then it just looks terrible and tinpot. Why can't clubs either move where the camera is situated or move the fans to another area of the stadium where available seats are.

One example is McDiarmid Park/StJohnstone, where two of the side stands are used mainly for home fans aswell as one of the stand behind the goals which are all usually sparsely populated or half empty.  Why not just move all the home fans into one of the side where the camera faces and behind the goal?

Bugbear of mine aswell. Problem is that the biggest stands holding the most fans are usually the most modern with facilities for cameras etc.

Killie's busiest stand is the east where the cameras are, Partick, Dundee, St Johnstone Aberdeen, Motherwell.

Lot of the older main stands aren't suitable to stick cameras, pillars at killie main reason.

  6. Anyone know where i can get the Blue/pink chevron top? 3rd top 1988 / 1990 With Badges? Not wanting the score draw ones, retro strips without the badges just don't look right.  all the websites i've seen are plain shirts with no badge or logo. Scotland Blue/Pink 1990 Leisure Shirt – Premier Retros

  7. The wee man (5 1/2 months now) has decided to start squawking and screeching like a pterodactyl whenever he's particularly buzzing.  Sometimes for an hour at a time.

It's louder than any greeting he's done. Hopefully just a phase? ha Any ways of chilling him out or should i just invest in earplugs? 😅

Is Danny Armstrong likely to get a big move? Be interested to see if he could cut it at a higher level.

We've shown a lack of options out wide when we've moved to a midfield 4, I wouldn't be too annoyed to see Armstrong in the next squad

He probably should be due one. I'd love to keep him but we've a terrible record in selling players when we should for max profit.

Armstrong's issue for me is his lack of straight line pace. With ball at his feet he's able to beat most and get away from them but without the ball he's pretty slow. Chasing back, he puts the effort in but rarely catches up to his man.

His numbers for us are great though. 23 goals and 26 assists in 113 games. Plenty more goal involvements, his delivery is superb, good composure.

I'd love him to get a call up, If the squad goes to 26 it makes even more sense but maybe Clarke will go back to Fraser if he wants a wide player.

Think Taker’s spot was supposed to be Austin, wonder why that fell through.

100% Taker's obviously big enough to get a similar reaction but Austin would've been outrageous. Maybe they didn't want to take away from Rhodes.

    Absolutely class main event.

  10. Gunn Gordon Clark

Robertson Hickey TIerney Porteous Hendry Mckenna Livramento Hanley Patterson

Mcgregor Gilmour Mctominay Mcginn Christie Armstrong Ferguson Mclean Armstrong (danny)

    Dykes Adams Shankland Conway

Call livramento up why no. Give danny armstrong a shout, he creates out of nothing and good delivery not being biased at all here 😅 If not Ryan Fraser is doing ok in championship this season.

If Livramento says naw then put doig or Ramsey in.

Conway has 20 goals in last couple seasons in championship and already in the setup with u21s.

  11. from Killie i always go M77 then take the turnoff towards east kilbride then left at the roundabout at peel park takes you through castlemilk. then turn right onto one of the roads off Aikenhead road. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to Hampden and normally get away quick enough even if you don't leave early

  12. Pretty embarrassing. Thank god it’s no a competitive game.

although they were never scoring until patterson gifted the opener.

since then we’ve been shocking, wide open but getting no joy going forward.

add into it an injury to our best player.
    love a friendly 🙄
