Disappointed no camera footage of the antics of the EK bench at the equaliser though. A manager jumping on a stand wall to do GIRUY's at the crowd isnt something I've seen before. Or maybe it was considered 'politic' to edit that out?
I was tracking the player celebration close up otherwise it would have made the cut
On Lorraine: "Kelly was born on 30 November 1959 and lived in the Gorbals area of Glasgow until she was two. She spent the first few years of her life in Glasgow before the family moved to East Kilbride where she attended Claremont High School"

They announced an attendance just after half time but the Stranraer tannoy's worse than ours and I couldn't make out a word the guy said. I had a team line and listened to him read out the teams and it sounded like they'd named two entirely different elevens to what I had! It ended in a 1 if that helps?
I'd say EK had about 350 - 400 there maybe.
Main Stand which holds 1,500 was pretty full. Must have been well over 1,000 in there. And another 500 or so in the home terrace. I'd have assumed it was over 2,000. Anyone know?

Give me the Brian Martin commentary of the last 5 minutes please. Inject it into my veins.

Is it pay at the gate next week, or will there be an online ticket sale?
Pay at the gate, Stair Park's capacity is just over 4000 so shouldn't be an issue.

That's a shame when you have all the other ingredients ready to go, best highlights package I've seen for a while. Don't suppose the phone signal's strong enough to use a hotspot?
Nope, and from past experience crowd numbers can affect the mobile coverage considerably as well. It needs to be stable enough to be confident it can support an HD stream for two hours without dropping, and anyone who's had connection issues when streaming a game will tell you it's not a nice experience! Hoping we'll sort a decent fibre connection if we're streaming games next season.

Any chance of Stranraer live streaming their home leg for "international" viewers?
Not looking likely I'm afraid, the internet at Stair Park isn't currently up to it. Hoping to get it upgraded for next season.

Sorry to interject on the misery fest.
Are the trains to Stranraer still screwed up? Scotrail/Trainline suggests for a journey on 4th May from Glasgow to Stranraer, you have to change at Prestick, short train to Ayr then a replacement bus to Stranraer. Is that right?
That's right unfortunately. Not exactly helpful.

Injuries didn't help, but we also had a bunch of youngsters heavily involved who should find a bit more consistency as they develop. Most of those we really want to keep would require a development fee to go elsewhere.
Including loans, nine players have gone. I would imagine at least a couple of those we want to keep will also move on. That creates quite a bit of space for new signings. I would hope we can take what's there and add some quality, experience and physicality.
Some of those offered contracts will be (at the very least) inexpensive squad players, and ones the manager knows and understands.
