“…despite what has been incorrectly reported, had no discussion whatsoever with the chairman, Dave King, that their funding, if accepted, would be matched by Mr King.”

Here is a wee fact rangers :54 titles
And well done on them. I'm sure it won't be long until another team overtakes that. Shame it'll never be added to...

It's truly all you can do now, isn't it? I attempted to engage you in conversation about it, but you couldn't have that could you? Not these days and not with Tedi to show off to. A bit pathetic really.
I'd back you up but you fucked us in the semi so you're on your own...
I jest. Nae facts to back it up so he's back on about tasty tears.

In other news, Rangers to be investigated over their bigotfest v Hibs...are Ladbrokes taking bets on, fuk all happening?
Why one bobbie or club official can't stand with a camera, at say 1 section a game, and anyone caught singing ****** this or orange that gets chucked out accompanied with a year ban. That would soon stop it!

Leaving aside the need you feel to do the silly bravado thing these days, surely there is actually embarrassment attached to it all. You know that the club's behaviour during the EBT years was dishonest, against the rules and wrong. Are you able to admit that embarrassment, or is it necessary that you bang on in the same juvenile manner?
It's the only thing most of them can do. They can't battle points with facts, because there are usually very few, and they just deflect questions with either threats, insults or another question.

Here's hoping we get another EBT like scheme up and running
I live in hope , if it can provide as many #memories as the last scheme then we are on to a winner
We welcome the chase
It's like a badge of honour! You needed to illegally scam 40% of your wages paid to beat diddy clubs like us.
Self awareness = 0.

Rangers desperation to catch Celtic and get "back" where they "belong" means spending outwith their means will forever be in vogue.
This is one thing I've never understood. If Rangers could only challenge Celtic in the past by spending outwith their means then how will Sevco manage without overspending and without the 2 Champions League spots like before?

I'd be tempted to play Cammy Smith next to Willo Flood to provide some go forward from deep.
have a word with yourself m8
Exactly!
Can people not realise that the role of a deep lying, holding midfielder in the two, is totally different to an attacking midfielder in the middle of the three? We're not playing a 3-5-1 and even then I'd struggle to say that Smith should play along with Flood and another in the middle.

if you watched us week in and week out you would see that a number of the players have great potential to be sold for big fees in the future - waghorn, tavernier, mackay, holt and foderingham for starters, the two guys we signed from accrington stanley would also have gone for decent money to teams higher up in the english league system, we are just going to get better as these guys develop , we are 2 or 3 first teamers away from challenging for the spfl title next season, as for spending outwith out means, celtic do it to the tune of about 10 million a season
No wonder your club is in such a financial crisis if you and your fellow fans believe that! Celtic are loosing approximately £10 million a season aye?
Incredible.

Some spaces would be nice, that's murder on a wee screen.
Paragraphs. You're asking for paragraphs. And since the writing didn't require them they weren't used.
Are you sure you didn't just dislike what the words said?

Nice try but Rangers are ethareal. You can't own them.
Incorrect. They were well and truly owned in the playoff final!
P.S. Pun fully intended.

It's truly incredible that there's been that much underhanded activity in this whole saga that it's still going on, and will be continuing through the 4 year anniversary of Rangers' administration. It seems like it's getting to Making a Murderer levels of twists and turns (obviously not severity) because this genuinely doesn't seem to be coming to an end. The new club still spending way outwith their means whilst most top flight clubs are now debt free and turning a profit shows how ingrained financial carelessness is within those who follow them and the last club. Why are questions not being asked? This is the exact thing that happened with the old club and it seems like a rinse and repeat.

With a current market value of around £25 million, Worthington is worth around £10 million more than Rangers, who are struggling to raise the money to pay their bills.
The Worthington Group did not return calls on Monday, but appear as if they are not walking away.

So Whyte's claiming the assets of the liquidated company?
Before they are returned to the liquidated company, if it's found that the new company aquired them fraudulently?
That boys got some balls. Maybe he is a true blue, after all.
Imagine if he got ahold of them! Just imagine the seethe. Oh it would be so good!
I can't see it happening, and I don't even think that's what should happen in the event of the sale being overturned, but just imagine!

Some life you must lead.
All the best to Clangers, not a great keeper but certainly not the worst we've had and not the demon some people are trying to make him out as.
To go out to St Mirren, who then went on to beat Celtic and win the League Cup. That's a honker. An absolute sickener. Hearts Caley and Celtic left after that one game and crisp packet hands bottles it.
Spewing.

Do all Dons fans fucking hate marmite?
And why do all Dundee Utd fans love Marmite?
Oh, because Marmite is shite, and Dundee United love shite! Especially shite that hands them game after game.
I had a point here, but I think I've gone awry. As you were...

"Nearly"
Leighton nearly cost us the cup winners cup by conceding that penalty. Didn't though, did he?
Stuff nearly happens all the time in football. It's the stuff that does happen that we remember. Langfield saved a pen in front of 43,000 dandies to win us the cup. That was magic. Over ten years he's been average as hell but with that save he created the best day of my Dons supporting career and he deserves thanks!
Well, McLeish cost us that goal, and the conditions were horrid. Clangers only dropped a cross in near perfect conditions.
I'll never get over St Mirren at home, the Dundee Utd semi (which I couldn't make with it being rearranged thankfully) and the Ibrox semi. He also made a huge blunder to let Griffiths in against Dundee in the league cup. All games where he has fucked our chances of a trophy. One swallow doesn't make a summer I'm afraid. And that's without even touching earlier cup games or league games.

That's my take on it, we've had worse in my memory.
Nae that milked a wage for 10 years. To think he'll retire on my money makes me sick. 1 game in 10 years a keeper does not make, no less a legend like some are saying.
Let's not forget he nearly cost us the cup by dropping the ball on his 6 yard line.

For what it's worth Michael Stewart's comments on sportsound summed the whole Collins issue perfectly
I really like Stewart. Him and Steven Thompson I find myself agreeing with them on most topics. Both come across quite well and we'd do better employing people like that instead of Niven, Sutton, Craigen and the likes.

Are there any decent afc forums these day?
Ab-mad - terrible format and a lot of posters have left
Afc-chat - absolute toilet
Donstalk - not enough traffic
Bugger all wrong with AFC-Chat. It certainly beats the "Facebook mom" mentality that seems to be gripping the internet more and more.

Ah, the BBC. Why do they think Astra's away goal means something? It's now irrelevant in the tie.
Sigh.
I have no idea why it's taken this long to do so, but I've only just realised this now. Excellent point!

Holy shit! This guy has a job, a paid job, writing articles about Scottish Football? Seriously?

It was very similar watching Celtic TV last night with the commentary. Saying the Stjarnan players were going to be in awe of the surroundings, atmosphere and pressure of the Champions League. They had just beaten Lech Poznan the year before and progressed to play Inter Milan. Worst thing is, they referenced the Milan games at other points of the game.
