Sacking Strain was a huge mistake. Gone backwards this year

Hopefully that might free up some money and there might be 1 or 2 signings for tomorrow.

Segregation and security a nonsense for a game with less than 500 fans and no previous.

Our priority his a big hardy cnut that can pass a ball in the middle of the park and that ain't going to be any ex jambo current bun or hibees! !!
According to somebody I know at the 20s game Ian Black is playing as a trialist.

Worries me that Locke is so obsessed with bringing in a centre half. At least 3 positions he should be strengthening first.

Unfortunately Locke will be around for the foreseeable so what transfers would you like to see him make before the window closes?
A first choice right back and cover at left back should be priority. An attacking midfielder would be nice but unlikely.

Marius Zaliukas is having a medical with killie
I think Kilmarnock offer to McGregor and Wright than Kilmarnock let Barbour and Syme go look new club with Loan deal.
If true about Zaliukas that's a ridiculous panic buy. We have 5 or 6 who can competently play at centre half but no right backs.
Wright has gone to Dumbarton and Barbour and Syme can go permanently never mind on loan.

Great result tonight, don't think any of us saw that coming.
Youngsters haven't progressed as much as they should have in last few years but Locke has to put faith in them now.

The rumours about Ian black joining us have reappeared on my twitter once again. We could do a lot worse.
Could do a lot better.

I asked the club last week and they confirmed the announced sales do include free child tickets.

Free season tickets are included. Still think it's a decent amount, final amount should be similar to last season.

Zalukas coming on loan apprently
Not sure why, centre half is the only position where we have plenty cover. We could do with a first choice right back and cover at left back and midfielder.

Where did you hear this?
He's still under contract with Rangers and there was an interview in the paper a week or so ago saying Davey Weir rates him.
Doing the rounds on Twitter. Apparently Locke told someone on ferry.
Any time I saw Rangers last season he was poor. We already have good cover at centre half, would much prefer 2 full backs.

Some cover at left back would be good but I would be happy with the 22 we had out today being the squad for the season.

Club have passed 2500 season tickets and are approaching 3000. See what happens with a few postive signings. Hopefully 1/2 more to come. We should try to target 4000 by the dundee game and that would be a great increase from last season.
Is there anyone on here who
A-didn't get one last year and did so this
Or
B- is getting one but yet has still not done so.
C'mon lets get right behind the team and make it a sucessful season for the oldest profesional team in Scotland
Ktid
How do you know we are nearly at 3000? Was there not supposed to be some prize draw when we reached 2500?
I haven't renewed yet, will pick up an adult and child next time before the friendliest start.

Oh, and releasing Dylan Pooler is about the most ludicrous decision yet. Wow.
Correct. Not many of the youth players we have released have turned out to be bad decisions but this one will turn out to be. Cracking player who is a natural goal scorer.

Locke looks a cert now and probably deservedly so. I wasn't convinced at first but results have been good, he talks well and his views on community activities and youth academy were encouraging. Players speak very highly of him as well.
Jim Mann was excellent last night as well speech was all about moving on from mistakes of the past and laying out plans for future - all very encouraging. Now we have a board with an impressive background hopefully they are given time and support to achieve their plans don't allow their hatred of MJ to hold us back.

I thought Funky Monkey's summary was pretty accurate other than the red card. Buffs were better but still too many mistakes in defence. I don't remember either team having too many clear cut chances other than the goals.
