  1. I can mind when Blockbusters went bust. Went to return a video and the place was shut, no warning. Got to keep the video. Cannae mind what it was. Was probably shite.
  2. Deadpool participants should be looking up owners of these brutes for 2025.
  3. Behave yourself. As both sets of fans have said, the footage is inconclusive.
  4. Disappointed to hear that the Tower Bar is closed. I was there fairly recently. The Purple Cat was always dodgy as f**k, in an entertaining way. Good that you headed into Methil itself. The East Dock Bar is a tremendous boozer.
  5. East Dock Bar, Tower Bar and the Brig Tavern are all decent pubs. You are probably talking about the much missed Bayview Bar being closed. Is the Purple Cat not still on the go?
  6. One of these ones when you say "why on earth would you dive?". Fash has taken it round the goalie, it's on his favoured left peg. Stick it in the pokey and he's on a hat-trick..
  7. I would tend to agree with that. Anyone trying to get a job would not get past the interview stage in Scotland (there is probably something similar down south) after such a conviction with PVG checks in place. I'm also kind of conflicted here, as I believe in giving everyone a second chance, but who is going to educate/ rehabilitate an inherently racist individual on their release from prison?
  8. For what it's worth, I can mind East Fife having 60 percent of possession at Pittodrie and losing 6-0.
  9. Sorry to hear your latest news GordonD. Hopefully the P&B General Nonsense family can provide some support..
  10. The sad demise of the Topic. What has a hazelnut in every bite? Squirrel shite
  11. Imagine a club statement describing yourself as "the struggling Highland outfit". Bizarre
  12. The thing that gets me is the claim that London used to be some kind of "white paradise". Facebook pages springing up showing red buses and only white people featuring from the 1970s. My first visit to London was in 1977, and it was diverse as diverse could be. A real eye opener for a wee boy from Fife.
  13. I think sometimes belonging to a community can be divisive if it creates barriers with another. I think I belong to four different communities, my family, my football club, my work colleagues and, yes, my church. The latter three are the most diverse, which I greatly appreciate. I think the old days when your community was simply the neighbourhood you lived in belongs in the past. I'm not particularly close with any of them, except the older woman across the road who we looked after during lockdown, getting her messages and stuff. I suppose that also counts as community. Times move on.
  14. Aye, the Reekie mob made a fairly valiant effort at parking the bus. Their manager, was however tremendous entertainment.
  15. Not a beer man these days, but was making beer battered fish yesterday and had some of this left over. Very pleasant.
  16. I had to tick the "only one team" option as I started supporting my local team, but moved away.
  17. A seaside version of cuckooing that's all the rage in Dundee these days?
  18. I'm needing more context here. Magnificent arrests ever? I'm thinking a serial East Fife meatwaggon inhabitant getting frogmarched around Hampden circa 1983.
  19. I might be interested to find out what makes a racist cretin tick, but certainly not on the terms of the racist cretin.
