  1. Israel put 4 past them in Torshavn a month ago.
  2. Maybe you could f**k off and find one that meets your standards, then?
  3. “Oh, and don’t bother playing 4-4-2 anymore. Here’s the real formation”
  4. I’ll like it quite a lot though, and that’s what really matters.
  5. Before someone else says it - Belle and Sebastian’s entire back catalogue before every game.
  6. Also, while I don’t think Eamonn Brophy was good enough, he was 23 at the time and top scorer for the side who’s just come 3rd in the Premiership. Stephen Dobbie, while undoubtedly a better player, was 35 and playing for a side who’d just come 9th in the division below.
  7. Oh, you meant comfortable away victories - I can recall Albania, San Marino, Gibraltar and Malta in the last 5 years or so, alongside the Lithuania game you mention.
  8. I think it’s worth remembering that this numbers p***k was agreeing with someone that we should be playing David Turnbull ahead of Billy Gilmour pretty recently. On that basis, I think all their opinions can be safely ignored.
  9. And rightly so. For what it’s worth, I think Israel, England and Northern Ireland (do they have GSTQ?) are the only anthems likely to be booed. Maybe Liechtenstein too, cause it sounds like GSTQ. I can’t see us going full England support, and booing everyone that turns up. And if we ever boo bonafide crackers like Italy or Russia, my head will be absolutely gone.
  10. We beat the Faroes 4-0 about 5 months ago.
  11. In what way? My memory is that we should have won it in 90 minutes.
  12. I came on to ask the same thing, but this in no way surprises me. He used to not bother really trying when we played against Rangers - the boy’s staunch as f**k.
  13. December 2070 Not the best month we've had, but we drew the only game I thought I'd get something from. A shame to go out the cup, but Pyunik are one of the top two sides in the country, so it's expected. We're looking ok - a couple of wins and we'll have sneaked into the top half for the season.
  14. Is Denmark for the Faroes not a bit like England for us, in that that’s the game they’re desperate to win and more fired up for that usual? Could partly explain why they did reasonably well against them, while being beaten comfortably by the rest (bar obvious dross in Moldova) I think we should be beating them fairly comfortably, but obviously we’ll need to play well to do that.
  15. Right. I’ll preface this by saying that, to my knowledge, I’ve only seen him play once but I thought he was an incredibly poor footballer. And that was a game he scored twice in. It’s a bit like Ralston who went through a purple patch, but ultimately remains shite.
  16. I haven’t got a fucking clue what you’re on about.
  17. I think we should go with Dykes and Christie, but I would also like Nisbet to get some time against the Faroes. Sometimes forget that injuries to Adams and Dykes means we’re probably looking at Oli McBurnie or Matt fucking Philips getting called up again.
  18. I wasn’t there, but I thought the issue was to do with the QR codes and absolutely nothing to do with vaccine passports?
  19. I think we’ve also had at least two League Cup games against them televised in the last few years. I can remember the 5-0 definitely was, and the group game this season as well. Truly, it’s Scottish football’s premier fixture.
  20. Pretty sure we tried that, and he still said no. https://talksport.com/football/770909/harvey-barnes-dad-england-scotland-cristiano-ronaldo-stats/ Fair enough really.
  21. He’s injured, is he not? This stuff about not being interested has been thrown around about Tierney and Fraser in the recent past, off the top of my head.
  22. His penalty was utter garbage last night, but Dykes seems to be the only guy we have taking them regularly for his club, so fair enough sticking him on them. McGinn’s penalty against Israel in the shootout was also shite. Edit: for what it’s worth, the penalty I remember being the best in either shootout was McBurnies, but probably not worth calling him up just for that.
  23. November 2070 A fairly even game, but probably a fair result on balance. Shame for the winning run to come to an end, but it was going to happen sooner or later. Still sitting fourth though, which is pretty ridiculous.
