I'd take 4th again this season to be honest. Scottishyeltz is an absolute helmet.

Have you guys seen much of James Keatings? If so, how does Gavin Reilly compare with Keatings?
Keatings is better.

I saw Robbie Thomson with his girlfriend in the Queens end yesterday (either that or a lookalike is pumpin' his bird). I don't know if that means anything... but he looked decent to me when we've played against Cowdenbeath this season.

I really like the home top... hopefully I still like it after there's fish and chips on it.

To be honest I don't mind the smoke grenades if we've just scored a goal or there's a big atmosphere at the game. However, the bangers are just pathetic and make folk shit their pants and destroy the atmosphere - rather than make you chuckle and have a good experience.

FAO the poster Del.
People like myself discuss and post our opinions and views on here quite frequently. I read what others have to say sometimes I agree and sometimes I disagree, but I do respect what others post. It would appear as you've given me a reddy for what I posted above that you disagreed with what I said which is fair enough but would you care to post what your thoughts on the matter are so others can then either agree or disagree with you?

Same team for me. Kidd and Carmichael were immense. Holty played much better with Russell ahead of him. Don't think Durnan could complain about being on the bench - he's been outshone by Dowie and Higgins recently.
To be fair to Durnan (coz I love the guy and class it as blasphemy should he be slated ) he really doesn't suit a 3 at the back. He's far better suited as a CB in a back 2
Aye, I love big Durns too. I just think Dowser and Higgins have been playing better than him recently. I meant to say that I'd bring Higgins in for McKenna, but I wouldn't complain if the dog started. He was solid bar one moment where he missed the ball and Raith had a chance to score.

Same team wouldn't bother me, but I'd expect Higgins to come in for McKenna. Kidd and Carmichael were immense. Holty played much better with Russell ahead of him. Don't think Durnan could complain about being on the bench - he's been outshone by Dowie and Higgins recently.

Danny Haynes would be a good signing for us IMO. I think he was training with Gillingham, but they didn't offer him a contract.

We dont need a left sided player. We have beany and paton.
What we need is a out and out striker
I'm sure he played on the right side of midfield when he played against us. Might be wrong - Muzza will know which side he preferred to play on.
We do need a striker.

I see from today's papers that Colin Nish is leaving Dumbarton on Monday .... could be a good signing and would offer a different type of option up front ... also interested in getting into management I believe ....
Colin Nish is pish but Jordan Morton is training with us
Colin Nish would be a horrific signing. I think I'd rather have Tam Brighton back.
Is Morton the boy who used to play for Cowden? Wide player?

I'm not one for having a pop at our youth players. I think it's great that we have so many waiting in the wings. But I have to admit that in the few occasions I've seen Dean play I haven't been impressed. You don't expect wonders from the youngsters but with the likes of Reilly, Burns, Gibson et al, and even Slattery, there has always been a "spark" there that made/makes me think they could develop into a prospect. I just don't see it with young Dean. He will hopefully prove me wrong, but I'm quite doubtful. In all honesty, I'd have had him out on loan well ahead of Slattery.
I agree with this. Although I still think Dean has some potential, but for me Aidan Smith is a better player and I'm amazed that he hasn't been given some game time yet.

Brilliant news regarding signings. We just need Zander Clark and a Striker then our squads complete imo. Great to get it done this early for once

I actually prefer the above logo to the one that's currently on the kit. Personal choice - but I think it's smarter.

I agree with the thrust of this, but before one of McIntyre's apologists points it out, Russell has been played through the middle once or twice, without success.
I don't recall this.
Me neither but may have been a game I missed but don't remember it being mentioned.
The only game that I can recall when Russell was definitely played through the middle was at Home to Raith (we lost 1-0) and he was completely ineffective.

You guys have Mark Kerr and Andy Dowie right?
Correct. Andy Dowie is solid.

Maybe he has gone back to get a work visa?
That's what I said to the person who told me. I remember Brek Shea in January flew into Stoke for his Medical and to sign but then had to fly back to the US while his Work Permit was pending.

I heard Kev The American has flew back home to the US. Hope I've been told wrong cause I was hoping to see him play tonight.
