It was, as was losing the SC replay to Hibs 4-1 at Easter Road in 2007, and the QoS match the following year. I was at all these defeats.

I also saw Scotland shit the bed 1-3 against Egypt at Pittodrie in 1990 and 1-4 against Sweden at Easter Road in 2004. I don't think the Sweden game really mattered but the Egypt one was about 26 days before the aforementioned Costa Rica debacle.

Was at the Costa Rica debacle 😪

A hell of a lot riding on this one - a Killie win, coupled with a St. Mirren loss to Celtic and fourth place is basically ours to lose. Even a draw (given our away form) coupled with a St. Mirren loss isn't bad from our perspective, but it would be amazing to go and do the business to really cement fourth place.

I suspect Levein will have Saints up for this after last weekend's win against Hibs, and I expect a stuffy game. Could end up being a bit like Saturday's match in terms of playing style. I won't be going up to Perth, but I'm glad to see a big away support will be there. Why Saints didn't start off with just the north stand for away fans I don't know, but ultimately it doesn't really matter too much as everyone who wants to go should hopefully be able to get tickets one way or another.

We sell main stand first,as that’s where the wheelchair access, impaired vision commentary, and personal assistant for food  and drinks, are housed, hope that helps

You have to consider the game against Rangers as a "free hit", it's your game in hand and they are pushing for the title. I think you can take Aberdeen in that final game before the split, and you only need a draw.

A draw isn’t enough if Hibs beat ‘Well, it only takes Well out the equation. I think Motherwell will beat Hibs and Dundee fail for the point, good last day before the split tbh.

    No.

Was it ever established how long his contract was actually for?

Of the current FB/WB options, Drey Wright is the only one that has any case to be here next season if we are serious about improving.

Don’t think Drey is a rb candidate, wb yes, but I’m hoping we drop that formation, and he plays much further forward

    Much more like it.

I don't expect miracles but I'd be more than willing to go and watch that team on a Wednesday night in Aberdeen if the effort shown tonight is the benchmark like you'd get from the Tommy Wright teams - you knew you'd never leave a game feeling let down by the commitment, fight and organisation. As after recent performances I definitely wasn't willing to even contemplate heading up there this week.

You won't always win of course but if you compete like that you'll give yourself a chance and at least give supporters something to be positive about!

If they can match that on Saturday, especially with an early goal Livi will struggle. Will they be able to produce similar though?

I think Random Guy pointed this out Saturday but who knew having a proper holding player in front of the back three would allow the back three to do what they do best.  Someone protecting them properly especially in front of Gordon stopped him being dragged out of position so easily when he feels he needs to step out.

Carey has something to offer but it's not in front of the back three. Its further forward.

We played a back 4,but the whole midfield protected them pretty well
