The costs from 2nd Division football next year would be much more than the wage of a decent striker, for a season.
Hopefully we get De Vita back again like we did Talbot last season. I've no doubt he'd score a few goals at this level, with a full pre-season behind him.

What do those people do? Apart from handing out leaflets on littering, which everybody leaves in the stands, holding events which as you say 8 people turn up to and gain fans admission into the ground? The whole idea of the trust confuses me somewhat.You have pretty much explained some of it there to be honest. Why don't you go down to the quiz night?

What on earth is happening?
A legitimate and good question on the same topic asked for the 2nd or 3rd time by MCL, and no responses, neither decent nor indecent, from the Livi Trust members/supporters/donors. Come on - get us an answer.
If he wants to get an answer then asking the question on a distant forum aint gonna get him what he's looking for. Ask the question where the majority of Livi fans are instead of hiding out on here.

I thought that was obvious but for the hard of thinking - An event to raise money for the "Trust" fighting fund realised the huge total of £4.50. Hardly enough for a couple of pints

As far as I know I'm not banned. Mr Livi keeps saying I am but then again he keeps making things up
:lol: I've not had any correspondence from the club saying I am banned but the guy that shouted racial abuse at Armand One in Berwick did get sent a letter saying he was banned. He still managed to get into the Dundee game on Tuesday though.
I wonder if he travelled on the supporter's bus to Stranraer so he could shout at Armand again. Probably would be ok if he did with bus convenor and "Trust" board member Pedro/Plug/Scarface/LiviTV/007 since he's playing against us now

My daughter was playing guitar at a concert at her school for the last time before she leaves for Uni in the summer. I felt it was important to be there to support her.
I was kept updated of the score by txt messages.

The idea that people have to give Livingston money for things that they neither want nor need in order to sustain its business model is a major contributory factor to the fact that Livi have never been run well.
It's all well and good to be a "community club" but at the same time you can't rely on a few hundred of the hardcore treating the club like a charity.
Perhaps if the people running Livingston weren't such absolute wasters (as the current crop are) or semi-literate flim-flammers (as the previous one was) there would be less of a problem.
This and the post by Livi293 give the answer that I could not be arsed giving you.

Did you ask if some of it was a returnable deposit ? Dave Black had his 18th is the AS and it ended up in a mess with fights, police & ambulances called, etc. so he probably lost his. I know they used to charge £400 for the AS but returned £200 if there was no damage to clear up.
So you would prefer to give Pumpherston Golf Club say £2.00 for a drink rather than £2.10 to the club you're supposed to support ?

I had my 18th at Livingston Stadium. I paid £500 and had £200 returned as there was no hassle. This did not include any food as that would have pushed the price in excess of £800.
I'd happily help out my club again, but now when they take the piss with over the top prices.

The atmosphere is made by the people attending the event surely ? I read somewhere that someone paid £4.40 for a double JD & Coke at Pumpherston Golf Club so it was as dear if not dearer than the Almondvale Suite ?
It appears the Italians were not approached to negotiate a price for the event. I'm sure something could have been worked out. If you don't ask, you don't get.
As to your last question - if even the supporters clubs won't put money into the club then the place it will end up is in the grubber. But then, I think that's what the "Trust" want ?
Negotiation is null and void with this lot.
I have personally tried to negotiate with them for use of one of the suites. They have made it look like they are conceding to accommodate us, however they are probably doing nothing of the sort - still charging a ridiculous amount.
I had no problem with the drink I bought - actually it ws 10p cheaper than the Almondvale/Ferranti/Medowbank suites.
