Meadow 0 Kilbirnie 1

I remember the old Kilbirnie Ladeside social club which used to be across from Glengarnock railway station.
I was too young to drink in it but I’ve heard the stories of some great acts that used to perform there.....
Hector Nicol,Christian,Andy Cameron.....

Cheers. I'm a bit out of the loop on the West Juniors/WoS over the last couple of years, were all these guys starting games for Beith? Familiar with Christie and Grindlay to a certain extent.
If you’re a “bit out of the loop” with the West/Juniors the last couple of years, why did you choose Kilbirnie to be relegated on another thread ?
Bit strange

Kilbirnie will get relegated.
Why do you think that ? Any particular reason ?

There’s more honesty in Mexican drug cartels than the whole of Scottish fitba at the moment !

Going back a good few years with some of these and sure to miss some good ones,
Billy Bentley , Ian Porter, Terry Dyer, Tony Bryden, Big “JC” John Connolly , Graeme Potter , Kevin Budinaukis , Ally Semple and Kieran Hughes looks as if he will be a good signing as well ( if I have missed your favourite, apologies , just a few fro memory )
Not picking a “bad” keeper as they all try their best and unfair to single guys outBryden was a great keeper at Kilbirnie.Andy Heafey was another good one but a bit mental lol

Kilbirnie v Beith.
Glad to say the behaviour of the ‘young team’ from both towns has improved in recent years

Of course, we'll never know how many may have gone to Rangers, because they refused to sign Catholics at that time.
Maybe we should ask Rangers' new head of communications how he feels about sectarian organisations.

Tony McInally has won more than all of these others could ever dream about and would be perfect to take Kilbirnie back up to a high level capable of competing. Why not?
Why not ? He’s an arsehole for starters...

Great to see that when Kilbirnie beat Pollok they can only post about Pollok fans, players etc and not about their own team.
Hope you enjoyed your ‘cup final’
As for the game. Two teams who played very poorly, no football on show, very little chances and the only difference one got a penalty and the other didn’t.
For Pollok it was like Clydebank game all over again.
Too many off days and lack of options to change it due to the number of injuries & a suspension.
We know we can play better as we have shown by beating better teams in the league like Beith. Here’s another one ! Sour grapes for breakfast.
Stuffy game where we defended superbly, marshalled well by big O’Byrne at the back and Ferry in midfield.
Thought Pollok were void of ideas and imagination

Success of a team or local rivaly brings hatred from opposition fans, football will always be like this.
Correct and always will be.Scheme v Scheme,town v town,city v city,country v country.

Didn't stop us winning the West x 2, the Scottish, super Premier x2, evening times cup and Ayrshire Cup whilst Liam was still kicking the junior ball.
Liams brand new and anderson and Longworth were crackers but they only won one major trophy of note in the juniors in the West once, give Me a Martin mcgarvey, a sniffer, an Andy Reid or Kenny McLean any day over anyone of ladeside in that era
Longworth,Anderson,Gray,Erskine,Mullen,Roberts,McLaren,Hughes have all stepped up to the seniors in recent years.Ladeside have proved a very good stepping stone for players getting the chance to have a go at the Senior game.
Maybe detriment to ourselves of the chance to build a solid team by not standing in a players way

Heard rumblings of a move to Ayr for Boyd as a replacement for Shankland

Hope Ladeside boys are keeping calm getting to bed at the right hour and trying to relax. Its all about the Camby game on Sat.And then and only then can we plan for next season. In any shape or form but we need big hearts and professionalism from our lads
Let’s get planning.Let Liam gel his own team.
He deserves a fair chance after the shambles Budgie Mcghie left him

The “Kilbirnie Village Mob” have gave Kilbirnie great backing despite the league position they find themselves in .
Not many clubs can run a supporters bus, fill it and give the players and management outstanding backing.
