It helped that we didn’t play with a left back for much of the game and Thomas and Longridge had complete freedom in that area of the pitch.

Lovely cross from Longridge for the opener, I think he's been a very decent player for us at this level, imo he's been harshly criticised by some of our support, he always puts in a shift wherever he's asked to play but also fair play to Mauchin when he came on thought he had a positive impact as well as McLeish

To be honest with the current position that we find ourselves in…”there’s a striker in there” isn’t exactly what we are looking for……..we need someone to come on who will make an impact or at least at some point in a game be in a position to have a shot at goal. Scott Williamson is a better option for the last 10 min, maybe not great but a more natural striker.

Double for McLeish in B team win v Livi today, just saying 🤔

The abuse that young Cammy Bruce was getting when he was getting brought on from the fans around me was shocking.

I was more concerned when McLeish and McKinstry got brought on yet again. What is Mcleish’s position, shown nothing in all the times that he has been brought on and runs about like a headless chicken….he is never a centre forward.

The less said about McKinstry the better

Think you're wrong about McLeish, there's a striker in there and remember he's been out for months injured...Really don't think some of our 'fans' are cut out for supporting a club with a tradition of developing young players. Jack Thomson got pelters early in his QP career and now Cammy Bruce 🤬 sure he wasn't great today but what age is he FFS? He offers more threat and ability to get to the bye line than Josh Scott whose obviously got other qualities and Bruce's goal at Starks Park is up there with one of our goals of the season...

  4. Very pleasing night all round was fully expecting a tense and nervous 90 mins. Full credit to Davidson, I wasn't convinced by the team selection but what do I know the Paton and Sheridan combo worked perfectly 👏 Only surprise for me was McKinstry not getting MoM for his delicious cameo? Decent crowd and fair play to the Arbroath support for sticking it out to the end 👍

He should have been left out of the squad weeks ago. Very poor attitude. Out of contract in 3 months and is not interested in staying. If he feels he's too good for us (he would be wrong), let him train with the B Team and f**k right off

Get that you don't rate him but how how do you know he's not interested in staying and feels he's too good for us? 🤔

Wasn’t at the game today due to work but what I have seen of him suggests he’s pretty slow, weak defensively and has one trick where he gets the ball on the left of the 18yd box and tries to curl it into the top right hand corner……so far everyone has missed.

I'm not suggesting he's been brilliant but I do think mckinstry is capable of creating in the final third, some short memories on here conveniently forgetting his assist for  Jack Turner's goal at Dunfermline. He's a bit of a luxury player and poor defensively and a bit like Luke Donnelly his languid style does give the unfortunate impression he's not exactly busting a gut

The boy Paton is a complete and utter arsehole of a boy. Spent more time rolling about on the ground than actually trying to play foot all. We get a bad rep and have already seen a comment of Morton have their way of playing but ffs Queens seem to think they can cheat there way through games. I know what i would rather watch.

terrible performance from the ref today. He has to stop the diving and allowed them away with it all game.

Lol I raise you Robbie Muirhead

That is beginning to look like a solid back three. Especially pleased for Tizzard, took a lot of flack early in the season and he has fought his way back.

I hope you're right but I'm not so sure about the solid. I think Tizzard has still got mistakes in his game and likely be punished by better teams than Dunfermline. The thought of him up against Oakley on Saturday is giving me the fear 😬

Remember the days we endured, what seemed like an endless sequence, of 1-1 draws?

What a contrast this season has been.

Exactly a bit of perspective as opposed to the embarrassing spectacle of the group of so called fans rushing down pitch side to hurl abuse at OC and the players after loss of the 3rd goal on Friday 😔

Mitchell aside I thought our defence was excellent last night. Queens didn't have many chances and their three goals came from shite goalkeeping and a jammie flukey deflection.

Interesting take - 2 decent chances early on and although he didn't score Shields pace troubled your CBs all night

Brownlees performance gives me hope for 2nd leg although I'm sure our collective defending does likewise for Jags fans 🤦‍♂️

Both QP & Dundee have the title in their own hands.

Having a manager who has steered a club to promotion to the premier league & beaten Man U, Arsenal & Chelsea might just make the difference.

Made a difference on Frid night brave decision to start Bannon and going 2 up top with Williamson changed the game 2nd half

Still unlikely to meet the approval of our 'what are we doing' and 'do something Coyle' friend...

    Utter bellend 🔔🤯
