The same happened with the via play cup
looking after their pals
1 -
I expected cowdenbeath to be doing alot better than they are considering the players and finance. I would of expected top 6 this year and push on next year for a challenge.
you will still have the viaplay money for next season but i just cant see cowdenbeath getting promoted and if that doesnt happen i can see you struggling
dont like any fife team struggling but no money coming in and crowds going down its no looking promising

I don’t know the exact reasons but it may be down to how much the facility will be used by youth teams, that the additional work required to make public accessible affected other plans for the site or potentially conflict over the UK gov grant money we received and the money that was being provided on behalf of rosyth.
Maybe we couldn’t manage conflict, if we have a Sunday game could we just postpone rosyth games to allow us to train on a Saturday? Would rosyth be using it for midweek games and we’d need to move youth training?
in short the pars thought they needed rosyth to secure the civvy and funding (looking after the community etc) then it came apparent they didnt need rosyth so rosyth got punted

I had heard this last night as well. Sad news.
Given that Lidl are no longer building on the old park it appears Rosyth have been royally shafted.
absolutely
the council and councillors involved are a disgrace to have let that happen

Different view on the incidents in todays climate/culture I think. Both clearly poor though but Forsters is viewed as worse (potentially atm of course).
get what your saying one has been found guilty though and the other not
and for NIsh and tranent to part ways for what could be something similar to foster makes that also a weird signing
dont know all the facts but would of kept foster

it is weird to let foster go and then take him

Can only presume it’s related to being the last team prior to this season to come down, who also played in the cup last season.
The real issue is that there doesn’t appear to be a written rule on this situation. Wouldn’t be difficult to do.
Without a written rule there will always be someone who feels hard done by no matter who they invited.come on, that might be the line that gets peddled out but everyone knows
look it what it is cowden are in the cup now

Have to be honest here, you are making a bit of a fool of yourself.
Calm down and stop going all conspiricay theories on us for everyone’s sake.
The call to invite Cowden isn’t related to votes over B teams or anything else like that, no matter how surprising you find the invitation to be.
what's it related to then

Top trolling. You’ve caught a few now do one.

Let me hazard a guess -Because his team wasn't invited! Suck it up mate.
21 minutes ago, Cowden Cowboy said:Although SFA have nothing to do with it given it is an SPFL competition. And so it was also part of a cunning master plan whereby we advised we would vote against the Conference
not trolling just saying it how it is and cant believe none of the supporters on here are saying the same. if it was my club I would be worried that were in the pocket of the SPFL or SFA but would just call it as it is
its done now just wonder what the club will accept next

and can you confirm what the point of that would be? Cowdenbeath are now going to be getting late night phone calls with cryptic codes.
"VT 4 B 2MZ"
they need more lower league teams on there side . that's why your club dances to every tune they play
your in the cup due to massive favours from the SFA just accept it.

The Bin juice ? What does that even mean ?
No one at Cowden knows why other than the SPFL statement that as the last relegated SPFL Club, we were invited but a invite two years in a row to different leagues is not a precedent, is it ?
Why not write, if possible in a coherent way, and ask Neil Doncaster ?
bin juice = the bottom of the rubbish
again you seem to understand what I've said
why not just accept it for what it is. you've been handed a massive favour from the SFA and will be firmly in there pockets
like I said its done and your in the cup for now

So what exactly did we do to get this invite in your superior opinion ?
2 years in a row they invite runners up then all of a sudden they invite the bin juice do me a favour. would just be good to see someone on here put there hands up and say it how it is
but done now

Should be a top top lower league signing as 24,000 ÷ 52 = just over £460 wages a week. We are rolling in cash
you've made over 30k in bending over for the SFA and shafting other clubs. 30k, that's a massive difference for bringing players in at this level. anyone who believes you were invited is a idiot your club is doing favours
anyway your in now

We’re just greedy b*****ds taking that £22k off those poor students.
yes, the directors of your club are that far up the sfa arse with the bending over for B teams and conference. the SFA would rather fund a poor performing club rather than awarding clubs in the HL or LL for doing well
its done now big target on Cowdenbeath's back if they don't succeed

If it wasn't us, I'd rather see money go to a proper club and not some uni
the some uni who is producing quality players for the lower leagues. have a bit respect. they are doing more for footballing development than cowdenbeath

Sorry, didn't read it right.
Stirling Uni would've got the place in the cup any other year.
Now we all know why you were so defensive over the vote to allow the Colts in the league.
Dunno where to start
think I read the cup earns 22k minimum. of course the sfa were going to help there pals out put pure corruption

think they've done well getting a premier job and the swifts is a promising job imo as I've heard they are going to spend money now

jeanfield management work commitments are getting to much to balance the two apparently jeanfield have been wanting the luncarty team for a while but they couldn't leave with the team doing so well.

They must all be heading to a "bigger" club as cant see any other reason to leave a well run club on the up.
