the statue is used as a memorial to the disaster. how can you argue with that seriously?
I don't.
That wasn't what you said though......

as I have stated I said I thought it was a bit tasteless. outraged and offended? no I have heard and seen worse at the football ffs. I just gave my opinion . infact my first response on the subject was explaing to somebody why some would find it offensive. but you cant have and opinion on this thread as a rangers fan without the same vultures trying to swarm in and just argue for tge sake of arguing with a rangers fan. its a pathetic thread tbh
FFS, you are more than welcome to an opinion.
It came across,to me, as outrage based/backed up with misinformation, which was used as the justification of your 'ire'..
Hence my posts. If I hadn't, some people might have taken your post about the statue being made as factual.

The original isn't doing a facepalm ... I think it just did walking away, some dressing up and some pro wrestling in the US.

Or, a couple of days after Jim Tague (good name) died, who took a bullet in the face at the JFK assassination, there was a rumour over the grassy knoll.......

One of Tedis 'go to' responses may be under threat
Lawwell will join other existing board members including chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge of Bayern Munich, AC Milan's Umberto Gandini, Edwin van der Sar of Ajax and Arsenal's representative Ivan Gazidis.
The European Club Association is the sole, independent body directly representing football clubs at European level.
Lawwell told Celtic's official website: "This is a tremendous honour and a role which I very much look forward to undertaking.
"European football is an ever-changing landscape and from the perspective of Celtic, it is vital that we ensure we are at the heart of the action and at the centre of discussions regarding the development of the game.
"As we look to the future, I look forward to representing Celtic, Scottish clubs and the other clubs in Europe to ensure that the voice of these clubs and their supporters is heard."0 -

it wasnt unveiled till the 30th anniversary of the disaster some what pish are you talking?
Search back on the thread....been covered at least twice in detail....
Large difference between commissioning and unveiling ...

Really?
It was commissioned for another purpose, then after the disaster they decided to use it to save cash ordering one specifically for the memorial.

the john greig statue which was built as a memorial to the Ibrox Disaster with the name of the dead on the plinth the statue is built upon.
No it wasn't as you well know....
and afore the whining continues, nice thread by Mr Graham on the lolzfest of the boy falling from the upper tier at CP all those years ago. Even attached a smilie to the title..
Can't have it all ways.
Anyhoo, neither of which have anything to do with the impending doom that awaits the club you moved your allegiance too.

Will Rangers deny that Nash and Wallace have met 2 potential Administrators in the past 48 hours? #c4news@alextomo
And will Rangers further deny Nash and Wallace have settled on one of them as potential Administrator?

A £1.5m loan taken out last week with security on EH and the ACP.
Now we have administration supposedly imminent.....
?
Fits in some ways...

That wasn't a quote. This seems to be one, though hopefully more will emerge presently:
"There is absolutely no truth in these claims which appear to come from agenda-driven bloggers who are out to damage the club. There is no chance of administration while there is no board meeting tomorrow. This is all completely false."
Another post from that thread,,,,,,, no 'Board' meeting may be the same as no 'Bank' debt

May save some uninformed legal speculation over the next few days if posters refer to
