Anymore calling my input hyperbole and I'll go off like a firecracker all over you Boris, comprende?

Wighton is an utterly fantastic footballer. A genuinely scary talent. The only thing is, we don't 'accomadate' his type in Scotland. Think of Ryan Gauld a little further forward. He's too lightweight though. I've read he's on his own fitness/gym routine to build him up though so hopefully that will help.
Hyperbole like this is probably not that helpful, expectations will be too high from the start. If he doesn't go off like a firecracker, then we will be disappointed, and you guys will almost certainly take the huff and regret the loan.

Was trying to be facetious.at least we conceded the least amount of goals against them in the whole tournament and they did go on and win it, in my book we were the 2nd best team in the competition

Noone really knows how these guys will play in a Rovers top. They could be utter mince or world beaters, we just don't know!
Before we start criticising them lets see how they perform for us. 6 or 7 games in and they're crap, then feel free but at least give them a chance in our team.
Nobody gave Nicholl a hope in hell with his side of has beens,no hopers and young guys with hunger and something to prove, look what happened.
They lost in Munich?

Anecdotally, my wife is a Scottish born Chinese, and her parents have intimated that a lot of the Chinese community are voting no. The conversation she had convincing them to vote yes was hilarious; the main concern was the rise in cooking oil, meat and groceries in general (lots of takeaway owners).

Great news about McGurn, don't think I could handle it if another team pinched him, in particular.

Donny is the family doctor, he knows where the skeletons are buried.
I went to school with Donny, if he's become a doctor, I would suspect he had a big part in making those skeletons.

It seems the official FB page always goes down after news like this. I love to see the hysteria that builds amongst our fans over something that always had a strong possibility of happening, outrageous!
I'm sure there is a lot going on behind the scenes and there are contingencies in place.

This time next week we will have a couple of new signings and the optimism will return.

Anybody pick up their season ticket today?

I love how it refers to Rangers as the Ramsdens Cup runners up rather than league one winners!
Great deal for kids, spread the word.

Levein maybe joining Hearts again (on bbc sport)
Just saw that. Was wondering this morning when he would dip his toe back in the waters again, weird.

Just saw big Marv on KDY high street. What a lovely, big chappy!

Brilliant, this Davo debate started because somebody made an innocuous comment like, " I've got a funny feeling . . .".
Personally, I don't think he would return as he didn't particularly enjoy his time here. That, and the fact he has actually improved since leaving means he will attract more suitors than just us.
Ok, think I might give this unlikely, but plausible, speculation thing a go:
"Levein to return to the Rovers at some point in the future."
Oooooh, tantalising!

What's the official party line regarding the Cowden vs. Pars playoff? I would quite like the Pars to come back up, but I think it might stick in the craw of many.

I think factors outside of individual player's performances have affected the squad:Agreed. It's quite hard to work out what the problem has been these last few months.
- Complacency after getting off to a flyer and settling in thinking playoffs were guaranteed before Christmas.
- Distraction from the league campaign after a tidy cup run/cup victory.
- A false sense of security on two counts; Morton were all but relegated 3 months ago, and no competition for places.
- Understandably, getting slated from the 1st minute at home games, leading to loss of confidence, second-guessing and lots of embarrassing mistakes.
I'm hopeful these issues can be addressed and, generally, the squad ethos will be more positive, which in turn will produce improved individual performances.

Never really understood his appeal. Drifted out of games regularly and didn't really seem to enjoy his time with us.
