But saying if the referee has mentioned it in his report and the SAFA want to progress it then theyre happy with that. Wonder if they have been tipped the wink that its in the refs report......

A very crafty move from Harestanes. They have done enough to set the ball rolling then took a step back to make it look they are the good guys knowing full well some of their chums at the SAFA will finish the job off for them once the Referee confirms there were no flags.

Can't really blame the SAFA, they have been put in a position to act as there has been a breach of competition rules. Sore one for Laurieston which they might need to take on the chin while Harestanes don't come out of it with much credit.

  2. And a win will only paper over the cracks unfortunately.  As far as I am concerned he has had his chance and blown it.

You make a good point about a win only papers the cracks. A win over Brechin next Saturday doesn’t make you safe. Gives you a bit of breathing space yes but Albion easily overturned a six point deficit in the final quarter of last season and were home and dry with an eight point gap.
The worrying thing if I was a Warriors fan is do you trust him to be able to get you results after next Saturday and if you do avoid the play off do you trust him to start next season and have you in the same position in the shit.
From the outside looking in looks like Irons has totally lost the dressing room. After three wins against TNS, Cove and Waterford (who you could hardly call diddy opposition) the wheels come totally off.
  3. It is in the articles of association of BOTH the SFA and the SFL that if any club challanges any decision in the Law courts they will be kicked out of both organisations.

It has also been stated that both ballantyne and the cowdenbeath rep didnt vote due too having a vested intrest in the outcome.

At least that has cleared my query up. I thought the SFL rules would have stated that anyone with an interest in any matter would not be allowed to vote/sit in on the matter. I am lead to believe league management committee meet on Monday regarding points deduction.

  4. Apoligies if this has already been posted and answered, quite truthfully I cannot be bothered trawling through 1000s of posts. A Livi fan I know is banging on that if there is a distinct possibility that Livi will take the SFL to the law courts over the legality of the relegation. The main stickling point been that Airdrie's Chairman sat on the commission and obviously had a vetted interest in what happened (I know Jim Ballantyne sat on the hearing committee). Is there any truth in this or is it just speculation.
