Was greeting for 3 months about us celebrating a win. Tonight he is caught wildly celebrating a single goal. Winning cup finals and promotions is the only time celebrating is acceptable.

TBF  when he had his whinge the celebrations were right beside him. He was nowhere near the United bench when he had his wee dance.

Full highlights of the 96 game at Tannadice from Sportscene, including manager interviews and punditry.

Hard to believe that back then they'd regularly have a First Division game as the main one on the show (main meaning the most highlights and discussions) if they felt it was the biggest match, and not just have Celtic/Rangers games on first. We featured quite a few times on Sportscene that season.

That is one thing that has changed. Part of a wider change in the BBC from being a public broadcaster to a pseudo commercial channel, chasing ratings.

Oh yes, the entire stand chanting “Who’s the wee team now?” definitely sounded like people who didn’t care.

Think vast majority of Pars fans would rather Rovers won the league than United tbh and any disappointment/frustration from today is purely from our own failings.

Yeah would rather the Rovers went up. United deserve some time in purgatory like the rest of us. A team having one  decent season every 15 years doesn’t make a good rivalry. Falkirk on the other hand, we both are always nipping at each others heels, and I only wish a rapid descent to the East of Scotland leagues, for them, where they can play Camelon and the Shire  for ever more. The Rovers are a bit meh, find it hard to get riled up about them, when no even the toun they come from are interested.

  4. Falkirk are in serious shit if we beat them. Games against Morton, Dundee United and Ross County who will all be wanting to win.

Hopefully they guys will be pumped up for this. A win to send Falkirk towards the seaside leagues will bring a smile in a season, which has been bore fest. We will be in big trouble ourselves next year if the signing policy continue to involve signing players who are slightly worse than the ones they are replacing.
  5. UDI needs a lot of preparation hence the pavement dancing. Every move the Spanish government has made in the last few years has disminished its authority and legitimacy for those in Catalunya who wish to move in a different direction politically. So probably just waiting for that one action by The Spanish government which would tip the moderates in supporting independence without the consent of Spain.
