I’m a blitz player primarily so 5 minute games are all I play. This 1 day turn time is foreign to me.

Yup, just the hours between moves killing my will to live. [emoji28]

My current match against Strachanovski is a rather arduous affair…[emoji28]

I haven’t played chess for months before joining this tournament so was playing blitz to warm up, I’ve lost over 110 ELO from high 700s/low 800s to like mid 600s, I was about ready to throw my phone out the window. Just stupid simple shite like letting my pieces get pinned against the king and other things.

Can’t say I’m a huge fan of the 1 day turn length; kills the momentum for me. End up forgetting about it whilst working or doing other things. Think my game against Strachanovski is only on move 4.

I’m gonna say it’s up there with the best they’ve put out.

4th is the last film directed by Wes Craven, albeit I think it’s probably the worst of the whole Franchise, weak killers and just a bit boring plot wise. Did help introduce a new generation to the franchise though and hopefully this new one does something similar.

Would also say the 2 killers are pretty obvious from about the middle of the film. Gore was much more a factor in this one, with one kill in particular being a highlight.

Eh…it was okay. Bit on the nose in places but that’s usually the point with Scream films and their references. More modern references this time but I would say the story ends up being pretty much Scream 1 all over again in terms of the killer reveals. I’d say it’s probably the 3rd best out of the franchise. ETA: Scream 1 reveal but there’s a distinct lack of good motive; this motive just seems a bit cringey with all things considered regarding how society reacts to things.

For what it’s worth I don’t remember the marketing for scream 4 being so prominent, and I wasn’t old enough to really pay attention to any type of marketing done for the films that came before. Think they’ve done a good job in regards to what they’re doing with this one though. I have high hopes!

Going to watch the new Scream tonight; will report back.
