We'd all have preferred that but it's a nice touch.
I'm hoping we get good numbers through on Tuesday.
To have 3 such important games in the space of a week is going to hugely mentally tough on the players
Our best chance of staying up was a single goal ie yesterday. We now face potentially 4 games, winning in 2. That is a big ask. Have the league 2 sides had a chance to rest players? This time last year Annan skelped Dumbarton 6-0 in 1st game. Dumbarton will be up for it.
Have just looked at stats for season . I would say they are reasonable, except goals for.

The club have recently announced that Season Ticket holders will be allowed free entry into the 2nd Leg of the Dumbarton tie.
What a fantastic gesture by the club and let’s hope similar numbers to Saturday make it along.
A more generous gesture would have been winning against Annan yesterday.

Sorry guys let's get back to the fitba or at least the best pubs in town centre.
Usually go to Morrisons or whatever its name is now ( decent, food, fitba on tv,no pool table),no cheap now tho,
but the Irish bar seemed OK?
For AFC players can I suggest a nice wee greasy spoon, just south of Stirling. All day breakfast or couple of pies. Washed down with a 1l of our other national drink.

i'll be buzzing by 3 pm Saturday guaranteed. the season post mortem will have to wait.
Agreed. Buzzing usually starts around 2:45 for me. PM’s are only carried out on the deceased.

Fans will always disagree on controversial points. The last meeting at Palmerston had MB spending 1/2 his post match interview talking of late incident. Queens excellent video highlights didn’t show incident. Pity.

Stirling gave 110% for zero return.
In 1st half Kelty keeper was prevented from taking goal kicks on two occasions. Stationary ball rolling on plastic surface due to wind. Perhaps players need physics lessons.
I luv NCP. Pies x 2.

Heard this morning that Rudi M had play for his club (DL) and scored a scorcher. Could be his time.
On the 25th minute mark, Rudi Molotnikov broke the deadlock having latched onto a smart pass from Hamilton before sidestepping a Dunfermline defender and striking the ball into the top far corner.

I am currently in talks with the club, regards sponsorship/renaming the stadium.
My last and final word work on this theme, within the topic.

Re swelling Forthbank numbers. Has anyone considered procreation?

That first goal was the worst goalkeeping error I can remember seeing in person (followed by David Hutton picking up an obvious backpass). Second was a decent save but unfortunately it dropped straight to Wales.
Hope Stirling do enough to stay up, would be good to have them and Stenny in the league next season.
Bad omen losing an early goal. Only once this season have Stirling came back and won. That was our first meeting at recs. Stirling GA is huge. But strangely Currie is 2nd top(after Falkirk) for shut outs.
Visits to Ochilview are driving me on this season.

A difficult watch in the home stand. Were Stirling not told to keep it on the deck?
A masterclass from Alloa. Easily play-off material.0 -
Recent signings have continued to impress. Best football played in 1st 45. 2-0 at half-time.

Groundsman has done his magic. So fingers crossed.

can Kathleen take a corner that beats the first man?
What is this first man you speak of?
I nominate JL for corner.

I normally don't do forecasting, but if Kathleen assists in a 60yd screamer i'll take it.

Appetite for victory from players and fans will be huge. Forthbank is bathed in sunshine as I type.

positivity v negativity. The fans.
It must be great being a FK fan this season. Turning up for every game, wondering how many your team is going to score. Stirling had a similar experience last season. When teams at the wrong end of the league it can be difficult being upbeat. Any negative comments, lie if necessary, can be repeated by some bampot in the stand. DY will be looking at points from the next game rather than remaining games.
In short the home crowd can push us over the line.

The Station is worth a visit before it closes down tomorrow. Proper football pub and a warm welcome.
Closing as in closing or refurb?
Any chance Kurtis could help his fans at Forthbank.

Enjoyed our last two meetings. Looking forward to this one.
Clarification required on my part. I don’t follow Stirling to wallow in defeat. I like to choose, when we are humped. That is why I didn’t travel to NDP.
The last meeting of Stirling and Montrose, 4 points separated the teams. After that match I felt I had watched a team that was the best of the also rans.
SP still has them ticking along.0 -

The pies were class that night. Sadly, our scotch pies are rubbery, our steak pies are full of carrots, and we do not have a pie of the week.

You can see he has real quality something we don't have
Early days. But yes, he has something.

Dumbarton vs Stirling, Stirling vs Dumbarton

Stirling have not been out of their depth in Lg 1. Apart from Fk, Ham and to a lesser degree Alloa we have been competitive and more. Scoring away from home has been difficult. Plastic surfaces ??
Level after after 15mins might give me a bit of optimism.
