  1. Tom Lang would also surely be a better option at centre half than what we have currently.
  2. I didn't mind Kabia but he doesn't seem to have kicked on, watched Dowds in the playoff game the other night and he looks like he's struggling for confidence again he really should have had at least one goal.
  3. There wasn't any football in him to coach. He was basically shite. Some players do better at other clubs but Hetherington just was a non entity with us. Time will tell with MacIver but it's an underwhelming signing to say the least.
  4. So running about like a headless chicken then. Don't break out with his effort can't be faulted, that's a generalisation that could be aimed at just about every player. Nesbitt has, can and will go missing, he is not busting a gut unless it suits him. Don't doubt it.
  5. I won't. Stopped after the pathetic shitshow in the playoffs. It's more than one interview it's quite a lot if you watch them back
  6. I wouldn't have either but Pingu has already ruled one out. I hope he's not got the pen out ready to complete the set.
  7. If Oliver re signs it will just make me despise McGlynn even more. Hopefully he decides to move on, I can't see many takers for him. The fact Nesbitt got handed a two year deal would suggest he's going to be more than a squad player. If that were the case you'd have offered the p***k a one year deal and said take it or leave it, and I'd have been praying for the latter.
  8. Luton in the premier league. Fucking class an absolute old fashioned stadium, that teams will hate coming to. Can see a few upsets next season! Reminds me of brockville
  9. Think the same. I hope like everyone else the boy does well but I'm absolutely not convinced by his signing. On another note that's Jamie MacDonald freed by Raith, Tom Lang aswell, I'd be amazed if Pingu hasn't already been on the phone to MacDonald maybe both.
  10. And we paid a decent fee for him. Reserve team football at that time must have been utter gash because he was a regular scorer for Aberdeen's second string.
  11. Christ aye so he did I'd forgotten about that.
  12. Just wait till he trips over his own feet and has a fresh air swipe at an open goal from a yard out. Confidence out the window drifts out the team and is punted on loan in January for being dugmeat. Now I hope it doesn't work out like that obviously but we have all saw this movie before. I will say one thing he absolutely won't be in as bad as Wilson. He's right up there in worst players to ever wear the shirt. The definition of a boy chasing a balloon.
  13. Nesbitt is a non entity, the fact he's still hanging around for another two years just keeps in the theme of being lumped with shite and reaffirms the fact McGlynn is an absolute clown.
  14. If Airdrie hadn't gone up I'd have been after Gallagher. And if we had pushed the boat out for a few more quid we could have got Paton from Stranraer before he signed for QoS as it was mooted we were in for him but couldn't agree a fee. Grant Savoury another decent player who was at Peterhead just to get games who then went to Queens Park, there are players in this league but we always seem to be on the backfoot watching these guys sign elsewhere
  15. I'm aware of that but he had nowhere near the first team appearances MacIver has had. 102 appearances and 15 goals if I'm right. To me that's very shit. Now if Pingu is confident he can improve on that then crack on.
  16. I think Agyeman will play wide. If not and that's the three strikers I think we could be in bother. We let a better one go in Burrell.
  17. Everyone on here forgetting that McGlynn hardly ever plays two up front. And when he does and it doesn't work it's not his fault. What's this notion that's he's suddenly going to play with two up front week in week out?
  18. MacIver may well win balls in the air but who's he flicking them onto? McGlynn plays one up front. And this guy can't score goals. If your going to go one up front you need an Alegria type who is decent at both. If he's a squad filler then he's probably better than Wright.
  19. Very underwhelming signing tbh. His goals record is ganting. If we had to bring a big haddy striker from Alloa you'd have been aswell bringing Sammon back.
  20. I was under the impression when he joined Arbroath on loan there was a contract waiting for him at the end of it, or at least that was what McGlynn alluded to. Maybe the goalposts have moved since then. One thing is for sure he won't be back at us he was on the initial release list.
  21. I think that's a certainty to happen, he's one of McGlynn's favourites, as much as be glad to see the back of him.
  22. Aye Arfield in as player coach alongside Smith and McGlynn in the trebuchet.
  23. Was very poor at the start of his three year deal after he signed BUT a lot of that is due to the to the fact we had the Holt/Sheerin factor then Rennie.. I just think he had zero confidence as did a lot. Over the last year or so he's came on a lot better and much more like the player we hoped when he signed. I like McCann, he's not the biggest and can get caught with balls over the top, I think the fact McGlynn signed Mackie to play left back when he came in also gave McCann the fire to say no this is my position and he fought and made it his own. Overall I think he could do a job in the championship. If we don't go up next season he'd be one of the few I'd be sad to see go.
