  1. Robertson doesn't excite much - and while Nade would be a decent signing then unless Danny Mullen turns into Wonderboy we're still going to have trouble putting them away. 7th or 8th next year would do me.

EL, I'm a web dev, gimme a shout if you want a hand with forum stuff.

Nade a good signing an average signing more like the guy has only scored 23 league goals in 13 seasons - shocking record.

  2. Why not? They will end up having 3-4 tines more season ticket holders than every other team in the league. They will have a playing budget of around £7m which will be five times bigger than their nearest rival.

They will have a pool of players which will include international players from a number of countries. The thing holding them back IMO is McCoist. His loyalty from their fans has gone now and if they have a poor start they will ditch him.

Hibs are in as much turmoil as them. Hearts won't throw money at their side as they need to pay back their sugar lady first and live within their means.

The best of the rest last season, us, will have a budget similar to last season which was shown to be unable to get us out of the poorest 1st Division ever.

    I agree

  3. So pre season is in Aldershot at a army barracks.

Week training with 2 games ( Woking already confirmed)

Possibly a game against Berwick in the pipeline too.

Sibbs close to signing a extension on his deal to 2017.

Yup, probably hold the wee guy down and make him sign it with his blood, nice to make it to 2017 (Makes Craig Sibbald 22 at the end of the 2017 season, the maximum age you're allowed to be for a club to claim compensation if need be.)

Another way for Falkirk to make money from their young players, it's a kiddies factory you have there, obviously looking to cash in as soon as possible for more come January or the end of the season.

Not the worst business plan as its worked in the past for Falkirk but is this the right route for Scottish football to continue to go down?

After all these compensation packages are now under strict review, the Falkirk safety net could soon be out the window.
