Cant go wrong with yamaha at the low end of the price range either. I have an fg411s and it sounds amazing, recorded it alongside martins and sounds every bit as good, did have a bit of work done to it when i bought it to set it up perfectly.

Watched it myself in an irish boozer in marbella, ended up chatting to the english couple sitting beside me, by tge end of the game the guy was supporting scotland. His wife was baffled.

Went for a drive today and listened to it twice through, didnt really notice it was on but never wanted to turn it off which is a good sign. Its good background music.

I'm a lazy b*****d so just went for option with least hassle and unknown costs in future. As folk have said, it's not for everyone but can give you a newish car at a set cost. I was the same as you in that I thought handing over the money with nothing to show for it at the end was madness but once I looked at what I could get for six grand I changed my mind. At that price point, if you get something mid sized you are buying at the age it could turn into a money pit. Couple of hundred quid bills and you are no better off than if you leased and in four years time the car will be worth f**k all anyway.

Your six grand will pay for the first 3 years. In that time just save up wee bit each month and at the end of 3 years use saving to pay monthly payments on final year or deposit on a new lease.
