I simply can't get my head around how folk can change allegiance purely for glory hunting purposes and not feel like an utter fraud to themselves, let alone anyone else. I just couldn't build an affinity with another team and feel.genuine joy at any victory. Folk who can do it at the drop of a hat are for the watching. A guy I used to go to school with occasionally came to Fir Park in his youth and we were his team. I'm sure there will be pictures of him wearing 'Well gear. Now, however, he is a raging bun and for some reason now proclaims to absolutely DETEST us. I really cannot fathom that mindset. It's bad enough glory hunting with the Glasgow mobs up here, but the folk who proclaim to only like that overhyped English Premier shite, whilst decrying our own game are weirdo's of the highest order and best avoided.

What's The 'Poshest' Thing You've Ever Done?
'WellDel replied to Hedgecutter's topic in The General Nonsense Forum
Having (for research purposes) seen multiple documentaries and exposé's on the subject by esteemed producers such as Bang Bros and Milf Hunters, it does appear that posh birds are, indeed, the REAL filth. -
Lived in a wee village as a youngster in the early nineties, so a Saturday would see a wee trip a couple of miles down the road to Bellshill and the frequenting of Franklyns and the Carousel, before crossing the road for late drinks and loose women in Charlie's. A bigger night out would be to Hamilton, starting in Jilts or the Stonehouse then stoating round to the Palace. A trip into the big smoke of Glasgow would inevitably end up with a visit to the very upmarket Bonkers, where I once stood queueing for the bar and a guy next to me was quite openly and vigorously fingering a young lady. You just can't buy class like that.

I question how wise it is for him with his very obvious high self regard to release such a tear stained and bitter statement, and also the club's decision to publish it. But it's glorious and I am fvcking here for it. -
Bookies have us around evens today with St Mirren tipping towards 3/1, which will be a tempting bet for many of the Buddies as there's obvs very little between the teams imo. Expecting a tight affair which will be won by the odd goal either way, just hope it's us with the 3pts come full time. 2-1 'Well with another late Moses winner.

Just seen the trailer for this on the news, predictable "woe is me, I'm a good guy really" pish and Schofield pushing his own narrative. Expect (if you're daft enough to watch it) lots of reflection and self-loathing, with a healthy dose of crocodile tears, building towards the "I'm a good guy who just made a mistake" ending and plea for a second chance. Predictable pish and most probably his own, egotistical idea. Fvck off Phil, you're a groomer and manipulator and it's to all of TV's shame that you're back in the public eye, not only channel 5 for airing the show but the rest of them too for tacitly advertising it by even making mention of it in the news. He'll have a new BBC series before the years our, stick on.

Alone, marooned, and no-one to groom. Surely this is how he should have been banished as a public safety measure, and not the premise of a show for him to weasel his way back onto the box? Channel 5 really are barrel scraping cvnts.

I just don't get the whole crowdfunding culture for things like this. Good causes, aye, I've often donated to folk doing charity stuff etc this way, but basically begging for donations for your dugs vets bill because you were too tight to take out insurance etc, gtf. I'm sure 5ft 6", 18st Elliott could have raised enough money on their own, or avoided the need for the op at all simply by not spending unnecessary funds on overeating to the stage of morbid obesity.

No matter the end result, this has been a performance to be proud of for Falkirk. Celtic's strength from the bench will probably see them through over the piece but, if the Bairns pull it off, McGlynn deserves the immediate Freedom of the Central Retail Park.

Did doing impressions help regulate your breathing? I do a very decent Frank Spencer, might try that to calm down if I ever experience similar.

Petty Things That Get On Your Nerves...

Think there was a similar conversation on here recently, it really is noticeable the amount of younger ones around who obviously don't prioritise personal hygiene. Young lassies with full face of make-up and hair done and boys in decent clobber, yet reeking of B.O., or offenders of both sexes smelling as if they've just smoked the entire contents of one of JET's suitcases. Just nae need. -

The one (small) glimmer of hope, should we draw Celtic today, would be the timing of the game. Semi's are on the weekend of 2/3 November and Celtic are at home to RB Leipzig the following Tuesday. With the amount of money on offer for wins in the Champions League nowadays, Rodgers will be willing to shuffle his pack in the diddy cup rather than risk players with £££'s at stake a few days later. As I said just previously, a second 11 from Parkhead would still be a stiff test these days, but it would be something. Importantly, it should also guarantee you the Saturday semi with them playing on the next Tuesday night, so more chance for at least a right good day out and piss up for most without the worry of work the next day. -

Going by the amount of empty seats (and half a shut stand) they had vs Dundee last night, should they be drawn against either us or the Dandies the cvnts will have some cheek when they come to spouting their usual crowd-wanking nonsense about their 'right' to receiving a bigger allocation ahead of tickets going to glory hunters from other clubs who only show face for the big games. -

Aye, I mean, you're going to have to beat one or both of them to win the thing, so drawing Rangers later today and hoping Aberdeen could somehow overcome Celtic in the other tie wouldn't be the worst scenario. Rangers are far from unbeatable (as we have very recently proven), but even 11 players off of Celtic's bench could provide formidable opposition, such is their current strength in depth. Giving Rangers another semi final humbling, followed by rag dolling Aberdeen in the final in similar fashion to how we disposed of them the last time we met at Hampden would be a satisfactory route to silverware imo.
