Catching up on the highlights and it's am absolute beauty. Wolves could have had 5 or 6
Espanyol aren’t as bad as tonight showed and they made 9 changes from the team that drew away at Sevilla and were missing new striker ‘5 in 5 Raúl De Tomás’. Have obviously chosen survival over Europe. That Neves is a class act and it was some strike.

France, Italy, Germany I'd give you but in England you wouldn't expect it to be two teams battling it out for a generation.
Where else has only two teams won it for what 35 years is it?
Nowhere I can think of, the Serbian/ex Yugoslavia is pretty bad and probably comparable to ours with the majority of fans being from Belgrade. However some other team outside the big two won it in 1998 tho. It really is a sad state of affairs and I like many of us have grown up missing the Dundee United/Aberdeen era so only know Rangers or Celtic as champions. My earlier point is our monopoly model so to speak is starting to reproduce itself all over Europe due to the champions league and unequal distribution of wealth.

18 team league.
play everyone twice
This way you only have to play the OF twice each. teams would be closer to them in the league if consistent enough.
Only real diddies would be getting relegated, allowing all decent size clubs to concentrate on producing players.
Spread the TV money evenly.Limit Squad sizes with at least 4 homegrown youngsters under 21.
100% this, on a side note the big 5 leagues are actually less competitive that ours currently. Bayern, Juve and PSG will likely get 10 in a row whilst in England the points gap between 2nd and 3rd will eclipse that of the spl yet again.

I thought we were the better team in the game we lost at Ibrox at the start of the season. The game we won I thought was fairly even. The 4-2 game at Christmas we were 2nd best by a mile. Tonight's game I imagine will be close. We are on a horrific run but if we hit some form in the next few weeks I think we will beat Rangers in the final. Rangers not having a competitive game for so long before the final gives me hope also. I do genuinely think Rangers are a good team with bang average players though. Credit must go to Magic Hat for what he has done and I'm sure they will strengthen before the Spl.

It is the worst Rangers team in my lifetime. We have a great chance. The best two players playing on the day will ironically be the Celtic loanees who are head and shoulders above the likes of Law, Halliday, Waghorn etc.

Never get a better chance. A bang average Rangers side whom I still can't believe made the final.

Ferencvaros vs Paks last week. Ferencvaros won the league so was pretty good. Game finished 5-2 and a red card which I missed. You could drink in the stadium. Throughly enjoyable night out.

How pish are Barcelona?

Longest unbeaten home record in champions league (still intact) and 2 home defeats in three seasons in one of the best leagues in the world. The away form in Europe is hilarious but let’s not forget they were unlucky to get knocked out to both Liverpool and Roma on aggregate and even overturned a 4-0 defeat in Paris. They aren’t pish but have certainly gone downhill since the era they had arguably the best team in history. I can’t see them them drifting to the depths of an AC Milan and Man Utd just yet. When Messi leaves in a couple seasons though?
