Not surprised the refs performance was shambolic yesterday. He missed bigger decisions than this and gave some bizarre decisions throughout the game.

They would have had a groundshare agreement in place with the owners which guaranteed them rights to use of the facilities as required.
They did indeed but how did BSC get to play there if Lochburn wasn't a licensed ground?

Broomhill were quoted.
Maybe licencing rules were not as strict back then.

However without "security of tenure" over the stadium (and documentation to prove it), Beith cannot get full Scottish FA Licensing compliance.
How did BSC get it at Lochburn a good few years ago? It was then that had the licence not the ground!

Good luck to Willie, Joe, Billy and Stevie today, hope you get the result. All good guys.

Why did Glasgow CC reduce Pollok’s capacity so much, and is there any word on how it can be increased again?
Yeh be interesting to know both of these points.....

A team continues to improve its facilities, regardless if it's only for this game and from previous posts it is stated it was already planned for the summer so credit to Darvel for doing what their doing, all teams should be applauded for improving their facilities, we've seen since Covid and inception of WOSL that most if not all teams have been busy improving their facilities. I think it's been a massive positive in what teams are doing all over to improve. Darvel may have been leading on that but it's made others IMO improve also. How many dressing rooms were upgraded following what Darvel did with theirs... plenty.
Good luck in their fixture with Aberdeen which is arguably the biggest a team at our level has played and I hope all goes well with the capacity and works undertaken.

Hopefully app is fixed, using website via phone is too clunky.

Willie is one of the best guys at this level, his record at the Glens has been absolutely superb.
As Glensmad says in a previous post the work and contribution to the club outwith the Manager role is absolutely priceless and should be commended.
I hope for him personally and Joe (also a great guy) that Glens stay up.1 -
Good highlights of a very even game, outwith the two well taken goals there were half chances for both teams to win it. Decent enough crowd in attendance. [emoji1417]

Yeh 18 mins to go, Joe Beckley and others basically ran into park 5 mins before game, couple of stretches and runs then straight into game. Played well that night could've been more albeit we had a scare at the end. [emoji1417]
Aye, Justin Begg scored with about ten to go [emoji4] I think it was the Port Glasgow contingent that came piling out the car about five minutes before KO lol1 -
That's correct and we won one nil that night....[emoji4]
Before your time in the job Kennie, but I can remember a few years back we were given both Shotts and Girvan away with 6.30 kickoffs - might have even been the same midweek!
Didn't make the Girvan game - neither did quite a few of our players! - but I can remember a car skidding into the Hannah Park car park at 6.25 with players getting changed in the back seat and running straight onto the park [emoji4]0 -
I've been an advocate for years of season running from March till November, as many have said players go on holiday throughout the year, playing Saturday, Wednesday during the better(Warmer) weather might re-engage alot of players back.

I don't think not having corner flags ever lost a team a game.....on an astro pitch in conditions like yesterday, no chance of remaining upright....
You might be right. We’ll never know tho [emoji2373]0 -
Good luck today to big Raymond, spoke to him recently at our game v Lugar, top man. [emoji1474]

Can any admin on here advise if the unread posts remaining will be resolved as it's not offering a good user experience! All my new posts remain Unread also. Android too.0 -
Injuries to key players early on meant changes to personnel and shape, this didn't help our chances, Goalkeeper also struggling to kick from 15 mins into the game. Clydebank deserved winners. [emoji1474]
We upped our game and controlled 2nd half. Couldve been a heavier defeat for voc.
