What a difference when it’s two teams going for the 3 points. At 3-2 the games in the balance, even if Hearts were the better team. Best game I’ve seen for a long time.
Utd had only lost 8 goals in 12 games previous and scudded Hibs 3-0 so all in all a pleasing result.

Well this run is going to end someday and somebody has got to beat us. So it might well be Dundee.
(It absolutely ****ing won’t be Dundee!)

So with Neilson having already given a lesson to his former apprentice Jack Ross in the semi final, will it be the same for Stevie Crawford?
Think it’ll be a tougher game, Crawford was always the better of the two. I’ll take a narrow victory via the penalty spot.0 -
Good news for Dunfermline is that Smith and Boyce both started last night for North Ireland, so expect both to be on the bench, possibly exposing us to Jamie Brandon.
Ffs man I’m having my tea0 -
Worth bearing in mind that Slovakia are actually ranked higher than us by FIFA (37v45), and gave us a good game just a month ago in Scotland.
These are important games. The captain plays - has to.
I wouldn't change much at all.

Heard that! Highlight of the game bar Irving's goal. EF couldn've had a pen though and deserved to win that.
Hearts were fckn awful. Berra should retire. Aidy White was a shambles. Brandon, McGill and Popescu not much better.
Berra was playing his first game in 8 months. Popescu on the other hand . . One of these days his bomb-scare-ness will cost us. Since he joined he will have passed to the opposition more times than team mates.0 -
No ones forcing anyone to watch it. If you don’t want to pay then watch it on teletext for free

Understandable given that 11,000 folk have paid for a non-existent season ticket. Basically a £400 PPV season pass. What’s £18.50 these days anyway?
Take the bairns to the cinema it’ll cost double0 -
These decisions even themselves out over the course of a never.
Jambos, let's have your comparable disallowed goals please.
They need to be goals first for them to be disallowed Tony.
However the bottom one was was offside.
Griffiths is a wee welt.

It will be quite embarrassing for high flying big spending Hibernian to lose against a lower league team
You might be fishing here but it’s a decent claim to say it would go down as the most embarrassing derby defeat for Hibs. And that’s saying something!
Demoted/relegated/voted (delete as appropriate)
Financially penalised
Lost a raft of first team players
Complete overhaul of management and structure
Only 2 league games into our season. 2 months behind in preparation and forced to stop training half way through.

I think we'll win this 5-1. (If a Hibs season ticket holder referees it, fails to send off a Hibs player for a brutal assault on Naismith 5 minutes into the game to set the tone, awards a penalty to Hibs for a tackle 5 yards outside the box, sends off the offending Hearts player despite it not being a clear goal scoring opportunity.) If not, 2-0 Hibees.
You’re right, there was nothing between the teams that day! If it wasn’t for that pesky Craig Thomson GGTTH [emoji23]0 -
The last time Robbie managed Hearts in a cup game against us. He was 2-0 up and fucked it up with 10 to go. We also went on to win the cup.
Aye that wasn’t great. I can’t think of anything more embarrassing than losing to your rivals by the odd goal the early rounds.
Maybe getting absolutely rag-dolled at Hampden en route to them winning the cup? TWICE?
Bit far fetched that though.1 -
Stop moaning about cheap seats.

Are you his agent?
Nope. He’s never had one. Was with WIM agency but never had the need for an appointed agent.
I just like to help enlighten folk when they’re talking out their hoop [emoji106]1 -
He had several offers at the time. I will back him (and ANY Hearts player) but genuinely hope there is no badge-kissing or chest-thumping from him.
Gordon is our past. Harry Stone is our future.
Are you talking about 6 years ago when he signed for Celtic? He had ONE offer, Celtic.0 -
He won save of the decade in probably the highest rated league in the world just before his bad injury, unfortunate timing for him. If he wasn't world class he certainly wasn't far off it.
Best save in 20 years of the Premier League0 -
Fucking hell, Christoph fucking Berra, the saviour. I about spat out my own spunk reading that.
Fun trivia question whilst we’ve all got time on our hands. I genuinely don’t know the answer
Who has won more Scotland caps? The complete catalogue of players playing for St Johnstone in its entire history?
Or Christophe fucking Berra?2 -
If only there was some genius way to get around this problem such as keeping prize money exactly the same as it is at present for placings within the league system.
Been trying to get a mate to understand this for about an hour now. A baw hair away from drawing him a picture.

Look on the bright side. We will gegenpressen the f**k out of Arbroath and Alloa next season. [emoji41]

4-0 Ra Peepul

Another decade passes with Hearts winning loads more derbies than Hibs. Maybe the 2020s will be more kind to you lot.
What’s the figures??0 -
Doubt Naismith and/or Walker will start. So with Whelan and Smith now injured that’s every one of our decent players out. EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Looking forward to Brandon and Dikamona at the back, Bozanic and Irvine pulling the strings in midfield and a Craig Wighton masterclass up top.
It’ll be a good laugh.

There are plenty of people in other professions who do as much, if not more, for the country but don't get nearly the same attention. I'm sure we'll get firefighters' day, teachers' day or nurses' day sometime soon.
This thought crossed my mind the other day too. But I suppose teachers don’t risk their lives everyday going to work
Well maybe in Ayrshire . . . .

The boy is a player no doubt. All this talk of Scotland and Man City are about 4 years premature though. There’s as much a chance of him going to Notts Forrest or someone like that on a free and disappearing into obscurity.
I’d say Lee Wallace was just as good when he broke into the team at 17. It’s hard to gauge how his career would’ve went if he hadn’t made a total James Hunt of it. So hopefully the young man has his head screwed on.0

That looks quite an erotic yet loving choke from Edwards. Looks as though he’s going in for snogface.
Don’t think Devlin was on the same page.
