1. Not respecting the thread title here but all of those mentioned above are less annoying than this daft "comedienne" who is on Richard Osman's House of Games this week. Tune in tonight from 6pm on BBC2 and witness the utter roaster called Kemah Bob.
I really like the show and the format that has the same people on every day for a week but don't honestly know if I can watch it for the rest of this week.

I apologise in advance for what you will see.

You have to hear it to believe it.

Like JB, I like this programme but for the remainder of this week, I can’t watch it.
2. What’s the script with streaming Sons games. If you have a season ticket is it part of the deal? If so how do you use it?

Yes, the streaming is free to season ticket holders.

https://dumbartonfc.univtec.com/

Log in using the e mail address you gave to the club when buying your season ticket.

As a season ticket holder, after logging in on a home match day, you simply click on the game and away you go.

Good luck [emoji106]
3. That's why I fucking love this site. Someone asks a genuine question and get quite a detailed answer and think 'it's great to see folk just sharing knowledge and helping out complete strangers on the Internet' then you get to the end and it basically translates to "it might go horribly wrong by the way and that's on you."

My intention was to offer help with something I managed to fix myself a few weeks ago without having to call a plumber.
I was pointing out to the guy that I’m far from being a plumber but I didn’t make it clear that I’d fixed a similar problem myself a few weeks ago.

It wasn’t intended as a disclaimer.

Hopefully others can take my post the way it was intended and the way you initially took it. Hopefully the OP will take it the same way. [emoji106]
4. Looking for advice re changing the washer on my drippy mixer tap. Have watched some wee online videos, and it seen fairly easy, however - how do do know I've bought the right size of washer? Or are these things a standard, one-size?
Any plumbers, home diy-ers? Zen Archer Esq.?

Have both taps in open position.
Water off under the sink.
Hopefully you have 2 isolation valves, one hot, one cold.
If not, mains off at your internal stopcock and hot off at its internal stopcock. That could BeIn your hot water cupboard dependent on your set up.

Find the screw or wee Allen grub to allow you to take the top off the taps.

I imagine what you will find will be something like this.

Suitable sized spanner to carefully remove, being mindful to keep tap unit still while you do so. Second pair of hands are useful at this stage. There may be a wee bit of water still in there, so a wee towel or cloth is useful.
Having removed cartridge and depending how good your eyesight is, find the part reference number on the cartridge.

My taps were B&Q jobs and plumbers merchant advised part number search on eBay to get the right ones. My B&Q didn’t have them but were happy to sell me new taps if I wanted them.

Fitting is reverse of removal. Remember to fit cartridge in it’s open position while you refit to your taps still in their open position.
Gently on with the water now, if no leaks, fully on with the water supply.

I’m not a plumber by the way. Far from it.

Good luck 🤞
5. I don’t know where to start.
We could all see what is unfolding on the playing side was going to happen weeks ago.

Now we have this takeover of ownership.

It seems a perfect storm to let the club die and sell the ground for a quick buck.

I’m willing to be convinced otherwise, but the silence from the board and Sonstrust is deafening.

As it stands tonight, they won’t get my season ticket money next season.

It’s an awful state of affairs and as a lifelong fan, I feel I have been taken for granted at best.

6. According to the OS the French and Irish TV crews who are going to be at the Forfar match are going to be focusing on how the club fared as a business during lockdown and the views of the fans.

They know that apart from the wee guys on their bikes that there will be no fans at the ground ?
