  1. I appreciate the improvement under Duffy and hope it continues but I say again Mr.Chairman take your time there is no rush, Duff is going nowhere and we really need to gauge is this the right move for the future? I would love for Duffy to be the right man at the right time for us but I still remember what happened at Morton and it ended badly there, really not sure he is the right manager for us just now.
  2. Well I did say you were capable of getting a result against ICT and got lambasted
  3. After seeing both teams recently I seriously think any talk of an easy away win is nonsense. Wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if Dunfermline Nick this
  4. I don’t get the “we only beat Dunfermline” line. They have a very good squad of players and will be nearer the top of the league than the bottom come May. We still look very vulnerable when we leave such large gaps in the middle of the park. First half could easily have finished with us trailing. I still expect the usual suspects to be fighting against relegation and I’m afraid that includes us.
  5. So Duffy is keen on the gig permanently. An appeal to the owner if you are tempted to offer him the job take your time and let’s see what happens over the next 5 or 6 games. Last thing we need is immediately offering the job to another uninspiring manager and then struggle on over the season.
  6. Undoubtedly one of the best players I have seen in this league in recent years, very sad news.
  7. 60 goals from 20 games! Why are we letting him go? Man is a goal machine
  8. I was a massive fan of McCall and was gutted when he left. However, it has to be remembered that he got very, very lucky with Shankland. Without his goals we would not have been anywhere near promotion play offs.
  9. Pretty awful first half, poor from both sides. Really don’t know where our goals are coming from.
  10. Not according to the tannoy announcement that clearly said masks should be worn in the stadium unless eating or drinking. Stupid rule tbh
  11. That’s interesting because they are supposed to be mandatory at Somerset. Although I saw very, very few on Saturday
  12. We have to take responsibility though. The stewarding of 800 away fans was extremely poor. The fact that someone could invade the pitch and run around for a good 2 minutes without anyone noticing was a green light to the later events. I don’t even think she was spoken to after the invasion and thrown out the ground, which is the the very minimum that should’ve happened. If people continue to get away with this behaviour then it will continue and potentially get worse.
  13. I can’t believe how unfit Afolabi looked today. He’s miles off the pace and looks like a poor signing. I really can’t believe he’s a Celtic player given the abuse Griffith’s got over his fitness.
  14. That’s all fair enough but we didn’t play 4-4-2 today it was definitely 4-4-1-1 with Adeloye left on his own and McKenzie trying to help out when he could.
  15. I thought he was pretty ineffectual first half but played very well second half. Definitely our best goal threat
  16. Most of that is nonsense. But what do I know I was at the game you were listening to Billy Dodds
  17. Can’t agree with you I’m afraid. Hewitt had a great game today and I’m sorry but Afolabi is no where near match fit, he struggled to break into a trot.
  18. Afolabi should be a standout in this league but then again Anderson should’ve been a 20+ goals a season in this league
  19. Woeful from Ayr, especially first half. Arbroath looked quite good although we did gift them the second goal. If they had scored the penalty it was all over. Good fight back and good use of subs from Hopkin despite the abuse he got over them.
