  1. Need to calm down a bit. Take it from a guy experienced in following a team fighting relegation over the years. You only need to out point part time Alloa to get a shot in the play offs. That might mean playing Raith which might be tricky tbf. All is not lost, yet.
  2. Do you think going full time and getting this team signed up, including Shankland is cheap?
  3. Agree with most of this but outsourcing the shop and catering was surely not a mistake? Didn’t Ronnie and Jimmy do a sterling job?
  4. Agree. Ironically Lachlan proving to be a very very good chairman of our club, despite the abuse he got through the lean times.
  5. Agree with much of this for real stars; Shankland and Smith for example we should try and get extensions if at all possible. However, you obviously weren’t at Palmerston if we’re the best team you’ve seen.
  6. McCall wouldn’t go back there and I don’t think DU would have him back
  7. Yip seen enough now to think we can comfortably compete at this level. Will we win the league? Probably not, but as for top 4 why not?
  8. I’m not getting carried away about winning the league but now I fully believe we will not get relegated. What a great feeling.....
  9. Fans are far too quick to demand a change, McCall was always the right man.
  10. Was Roberts the worst manager we’ve had? We’ve had a few bad ones but he seemed to linger a lot longer than most.
  11. Sorry I’m a bit of an Adolf but Dad knows best, they need to support the team you support. How many Celtic and Rangers fans are local? Can you imagine your son supporting Dundee whilst you’re at the other end supporting Ayr!!!!
  12. I took my son at about 3, but interest didn’t really start until he went to school.
  13. When was the last time Falkirk were in the third tier of Scottish football?
  14. Going way back I remember when both Nicol and Connor played in the fullback positions for the under 21s, whilst both playing for Ayr
  15. To be brutally frank if we had sold Shankland we would be bottom 3 scrapping against relegation. If we go down it would cost us far more than the cash received for Shanks. Hence the reason we have retained him.
  16. Morton look total diddies in this, McKinnon looks like a total Judas. If he does well then he’ll jump ship again. Strange appointment for Falkirk imo. Not a lot of class from either Falkirk or McKinnon but Morton [emoji23]
  17. So considering McCall turned down Falkirk and it looks like McKinnon has said yes. That means Ayr are a bigger club than Falkirk and Morton are a wee diddy club!
  18. I don’t understand why he would even talk to them if he wanted to stay with us, all quite bizarre
  19. Interesting... better than Hurst, Conway, Reynolds, Grady, Annand, Roberts?
