Shite from Gunn again IMO.

Gunn is having a nightmare.

Feel like I'm watching Saints again from the last three seasons.

I really, really wish that every time Gunn gets a hand or leg to something, he'd stop meekly playing it back across the centre of the goal rolling about the 6 yard box.
I mean it's better than meekly palming it into the goal but not by much.
It's like watching Zander Clark.

It doesn't help though that we just lump it up to Adams. It's like meat and drink for them.
Aye. They're trying to play like Dykes is still there.

Anyone checked Neuer is still in goal?
He's away for a pint.

That's a strong side from Germany.

Patiently waiting for Taylor Stevens new contract.
A wee bit of me worries that an ambitious, young attacking player won't see us as being a very attractive proposition after the last 3-4 years.

Is Josh McPake a signing target for you .
He was training with you while playing for Stirling last season.
It was mentioned a few weeks ago as a possibility but it's been all quiet since.
They might take a further look during early pre-season I suppose.

Somewhat strange that it's taken around 8 months for us to hear/see Andy Kirk speak, but that moment has finally come.
Levein is doing his podcast today probably.

I missed this. What did he say?
I don't remember word for word but he had a couple of pops about transfers and the players not being fit enough. And we'd never see his players not giving 100%. Nothing volcanic but definitely noticed it.

Steven MacLean apparently heading to Queens Park to be part of Davidsons backroom.
Was he not pretty critical of him after replacing him?
Not publicly I don't think. He certainly was at the Open Night.

We arguably need an entire backline, depending on your thoughts on McClelland/Keltjens.
I'd like to see McClelland get another opportunity. He performed well on loan so did his bit. The last time Levein spoke about Keltjens he was thinking about playing him in midfield. But that may have been before he knew what was happening with Sprangler and *sigh* MacPherson.

I'm not convinced by the CBs at the moment. Unless we sign a Kerr 2.0.

I see David Marshall has retired. Shame as I'd always hoped we'd replace Mitov with him.

We've been making big losses and are probably still in a bit of a mess financially thanks to Flaherty and Davidson so I reckon a decent bid will be accepted.

I think so. Still concerns about his actual output in terms of goals/assists, but he's now a proven, experienced, performer who can play in a variety of shapes.
After seeing Davidson/MacLean squads it really has driven home how important a balanced, flexible, squad with real depth is. Wright ticks a lot of boxes to have.
I think our biggest issue might end up being CBs tbh, and that's why I think at least one of McGowan or Gordon stays.
I was pretty unimpressed by Wright in his first spell but if he is able to perform like he did in 22/23 then he's probably worth a contract. But it's a big if.

I don't know if it was too much emotion that wanted the whole squad dumped, or the Summer hope now running through me, but so far with extensions/signings I'm actually pretty happy and everything seems sensible.
We clearly still need quality in defence/out wide, but we also need a squad. Carey earned an extension and 1yr is ideal. Hopefully we see Taylor Steven either step up next season, or show enough out on loan to suggest he could the year after.
Drey Wright getting a 2yr deal would probably be fine too, but his injuries worry me.
Aye. Wright seems to always have a pretty lengthy lay off. Is it worth the gamble though?

Could we not get Niemi on pundits duty just for the banter?

Did he say a Scotland goal would "help the atmos?

There's no way Gunn gets dropped. Especially if Clarke thinks he's being targeted by the media or fans.
