    Christ no; I've met him he would easily thump me. I'd have to resort to stabbing him to death and that's only something I do as a last resort.

    At least at my trial I could point out his posts on the thread and I'd probably get off with a light reprimand.

    This didn't happen, though, at all. My post was quite clear on what I meant, not once did I suggest Hartley would leave Dundee for St. Mirren - please do not lie so blatantly in future.

    Also, if anyone is interested, please go to the Ched Evans thread to see what Dee Man thinks about women. You will never want to agree with him, on anything, ever again.

    Innocent until proven guilty IMO; should continue to play for Dundee though I imagine he will get some stick from opposition fans.

    It wouldn't surprise me if its true; he has two previous convictions for assaulting police officers. That suggests a pattern. Dundee FC can have no complaints either; they knew his history when they signed him.

    On a related note; like many others I am a huge admirer of Barcelona FC (or FC Barcelona if you're pretentious). I think they made a huge mistake signing Suarez because I'm fairly certain he will bite someone again and get a ban for christ knows how long. If that happens the club should have no complaint.

    I know most people just post on here, but for those that either posted on Mad or the Official or wanted a home club forum that wasn't as crazy as Mad, I think BlueDee from here has got his forum up and running again and it seems to be taking off a bit better than last time.

    Also me on Billy Mckay ( One goal so far this season - defensive error)

    He misses sitter after sitter. Minus penalties and defensive collapses and you see he's a bog standard striker. He'll score no more than 8 this year..

    No it isn't. He's a 20 goal a season kind of a guy. You can't do that if your finishing is poor.

    It's also a 20 goal a season striker more than most of the bottom six have, including Dundee.

    I was going to ask how many times you'd actually seen McKay in the flesh, then I remembered who you supported and what league you've spent the majority of the last three seasons in.

    I'll stop posting if Tankulic and Mckay both have full seasons and Tankulic scores more.

    I don't care what happens. However, I know for a fact and from experience of seeing him on a good few occasions, that every club in Scotland - Celtic aside - would love to have someone like MacKay as he'd stroll into their first XI.
    To be fair to you, with Dundee naturally filling the relegation spot, this is the best insult you could probably hope for.
    Might just f**k of the now if this is what passes as an opinion.
    Billy McKay will probably score more goals this season than Dundee do.
    The Scarf, StandFree03, Lexy and many more you are taking on hell of a beating.

    Harkins wasn't over weight when he was with us. Indeed he looked impressive physically.

    His problems were just that he was lazy, unfit and shite.

    The reason Harkins has achieved the square root of nothing in his career approaching his 30th birthday is because he is a lazy waster.

    Danny lost his job because of players like Harkins, his signings were the reason we underachieved. Still finished 8th though, higher than Dundee have for how many years? Oh the season before we won a title.

    You think you'll ever see Dundee achieve such things?

    Should boyle be given a start after playing well and causing problems when he came on sat or is he more effective coming off bench

    I see Boyle as an impact sub. A very useful one at that. For him to start it would probably mean dropping McGowan back into centre mid as on Saturday, which is a decent option.

    I thought McBride was decent on Saturday and against Motherwell and agree McAlister needs to up his game, loses the ball too much by either playing a bad pass or getting caught trying to do a fancy turn. In saying that I would definitely prefer Thomson in the team for McBride and McAlister on his game is a cracking player.

    Irivne has put in some great saving tackles for us since being put in at left back but when he gets the ball in space he looks shaky when someone is running at him whilst he is taking about 12 touches to get it onto his right foot to hoof it up the pitch, cant fault him too much though as he has done pretty well.

    I think our best team with everyone fit would be-

    Bain

    McGinn

    Konrad

    McPake

    Dyer

    Ferry

    Thomson

    Harkins

    McGowan

    Stewart

    Clarkson

    Subs-

    Peaso,Boyle,McAlister,Kerr,Letheren,Wighton,Roberts.

    Irvine has not been a disaster, but he slows everything down and is just very average. I still reckon Tankulic has something to give.

    We have a great run of fixtures until Christmas i think we may be near top six for New year.

    As for McBride he's a bang average player, and was ineffective on Saturday.
