  1. Sorry for being a pest folks. My 10 year old son collects pin badges for every ground he has been to and was obviously at Bo’ness last weekend. He went to buy one but the club shop was obviously shut. Anyone know if you sell them and if so how I can get hold of one? If not then I’m sure I can get them online somewhere
  2. You’re lucky, they charged us £18 and £20 2 years ago
  3. After seeing the original graphic and being firmly in the “must have white sleeves” camp I was dreading seeing this seasons kit, but the club have pulled it out the bag IMHO. ‬
  4. Bo’ness used the same app for our friendly on Saturday and that’s all they did mate. Handy system for clubs to use and really easy for supporters.
  5. Pretty fair reflection I would say, I thought we created enough chances to be out of sight but it was not to be. Fair play to Bo’ness, they battled and took the chances that fell to them. They’ll have a good season in the LL on this showing and we’ll be happier with our phases of play rather than the actual result.
  6. Assuming he’s the same player or an improved player from the one that played at Forthbank then you’ll have yourself a cracking player for this level. I really liked Sandy and I’m a little surprised at the way his footballing career has ended up, but I hope he uses you as a good foundation to build on but he’s a player that should excite your support over a run of games.
  7. Have people not been wishing for this for a number of years now? Remember the same chat when he was with us 6 or 7 years ago.
  8. Another decent summer signing I would say, he impressed me playing for Annan and Elgin over the years and is another player that has the ability to make things happen.
  9. So does this make Saturday’s game against Stirling a doubt?
  10. Surprised at this as I would have thought we were well covered in Defence, suppose we’ll have to wait and see. Very disappointing news, especially when I was excited to see him and Carrick link up. However there is no way you can stop a guy going back to Full Time football when he has the opportunity, and up to the Championship as well. Good luck to him. As for who can step up, I would have guessed that KR will be looking for a replacement but actually, in the lively striker role, maybe this is a good opportunity for Bikey or Heaver to step into his shoes.
  11. Peter MacDonald and Andy Little both coached at Rangers whilst playing for us and James Creaney is/was a coach at Hamilton. I remember managers working at Edusport as well, Stuart McLaren, Barry Ferguson and a Colin Cameron were all involved whilst managing Stirling, Clyde and Berwick.
  12. As am I Dave, but i’m also very impressed with those that we have managed to keep. We’ve kept all our big hitters last season (although there could be arguments about Binnie of course) and put, what looks to be, quite an impressive squad at this stage of the season anyway. Absolute nonsense!
  13. Has it been announced if clubs will have the right to stream games this season?? I thought the agreement was for 1 season only and just assumed that if fans were back in next season that it wouldn’t be granted again.
  14. Yeah totally get what you are saying AlbionMan and I even had the same chat with someone about this last season. Bikey has flattered to deceive since he left the club and joined Hearts however on his actual return under KR it was mentioned by the manager (a good number of times) that he wasn’t fit and he needed to get that fitness and match sharpness back. I think he was starting to get there and he even put in a couple of good performances where we saw the old flashes of brilliance again, just as he picked up his injury. Again last season (going by what we saw on SATV of course) he was out injured for most of it, then was introduced sparingly with a couple of months of the season to play, but again the message from KR was that he needs time, he needs to get fit and he needs to become match sharp. I’m an eternal optimist, but this time around I think with a proper pre-season and at a club that he knows he is highly regarded at, then I’m hopeful that he can now kick on and get back to the same level of performances that we saw during his first spell. I think Bikey needs that stability in his career and we all know that he’ll be a huge asset (again) if he can get back to that. Football at this level is all about levels of risk and KR is taking a risk keeping him on, but in my opinion, it’s a risk worth taking.
  15. So you’ll be gutted to read that Laird has signed for us tonight? Good capture for the club from what I have seen.
  16. Bikey is back and Bikey is fit, wonderful news and with a pre-season behind him is sure to be ruthless [emoji1319] Marc Laird has also joined the club from Edinburgh City. Welcome to the club Marc, that’s another positive signing for us.
  17. Agree with everyone DavidMcG has said, excellent signing for The Rose and I was hoping he was going to kick on with us next season. Wish him all the best of luck for next season.
  18. Cammy Thomson leaves the club to join Linlithgow Rose. Wish him well and all the best. Stuart Brown also confirming on Twitter that we have a “Stirling Albion first” option on resigning him him for the 22-23 season, so will be keeping an eye on him over next season.
  19. Saw Callum play a few Youth games before moving to St.Mirren, maybe 2/3 seasons ago, and I wouldn’t be against this and would like to see more of the Academy kids breaking into the First Team squad.
  20. Oh really?? Apologies then Ivo and I stand corrected. Who played alongside Dillon in your promotion side then?
