Quite happy to take someone on loan that's played first team games elsewhere prior to joining us. Too often we've taken players who freeze up and are used to kids football. Kennedy will have a good understanding of what's required. He's only 20 years old and about 18 months ago he was being linked with moves to every elite club in Europe. Gives us a degree of flexibility now across the four attacking positions.
Every McGlynn signing so far has looked good the couple of times I've seen them so I think he's already earned a bit of faith.
guess that means you wont be in for Mochrie then

The games aren't on the weekend because the whole point of a reserve league is to keep the guys on the peripherary of the 1st team match sharp.
A guy that is on the bench every week but barely gets on the park still needs to play in proper games. The reserve league isn't for the fans, it is for the players and keeping up development.
The initial reason for kicking the older guys out was that many of them weren't taking it seriously enough and no one was getting a benefit. The U20 league was more competitive imo and much better for the younger players instead of being held back by 30 year olds playing in a half paced kick about.
spot on

I’d rather we didn’t have to but the overreacting from some is bordering hysterical
Hopefully he’s more Ryan Christie than Adam Montgomery

I’d definitely take Mochrie. He was always very impressive when I seen him at Montrose last season. With Fotheringham I really wouldn’t want him back. He was young but he just looked like a boy and didn’t show anything when he was with us. Like a younger Seb Ross.yeah like him, quick and very good driving ability which is rare in Scotland

Zak Rudden aside the loans we get from the Old Firm are always absolute dogshit. Jason Marr, Joe Chalmers, Ross Perry etc…

Is Open Goal massively popular? Tbh I'd never heard of it before, and I'm a bit surprised that a free podcast on Scottish football could fund more than their studio tea bags.
I quite like a view from the Tarrace but open goal actually gives you a better insight into scottish football, Si Ferry's personality and interviewing technique actually gets the footballers interviewed to open up more and says things they would never say anywhere else. I would encourage anyone to look at his back catalogue of interviews.

You apologised if others were offended. You didn't apologise for using a homophobic slur.
I'm not interested in a pile on but just know there is no non-homophobic meaning to that word.
To use it in the context you did is because the implications is gay people are weak and effeminate, not real men.
take a day off mate

He doesnt believe he has done anything wrong so difficult to show remorse for something he hasnt done.
If he did then he could open himself up to potential prosecution.
I am sure he is sorry that the whole event ever happened and wished he could go back in time to change everything.
Thats my take on it too

Hope the so called majority of fans that wanted him back are happy, the club have just created another disaster for themselves.
There is a lot more important things going on in the world than if david Goodwillie goes back to Bloody Clyde

has he not been playing for them for the last 5 years?
