If it's John Ward who's currently on the board, then that's a fairly encouraging move I'd say. Doesn't seem like a total throbber and if he can get any remnant of Rankine's tentacles out of the club then he'll be off to a good start. Next stop would be disposing of the inevitable baggage surrounding Martindale and his less than transparent involvement behind the scenes.
Hopefully the EGM brings forth an announcement about a plastic pitch too.

I believe it's one of the "current" team/committee members who is looking to buy the majority shareholding from Ford/Rankine.

We need a clear out top to bottome with Rankine, et, al (which includes Martindale) or else for many it will just be seen as moving the spots around. It worries me that they call shareholders who might come out the cupboard.
