Never mind reseeding, the entire pitch got dug up at the end of last season and new turf put down. I’d imagine the owners won’t be too chuffed if it’s a mess.
It wasn’t turf, it was seeded less than a month ago. Games have come too early for it but it will recover.0 -
TBF you'd presumably have to go for the same stuff as Hearts to avoid the farces that Hamilton/Livingston have, which cost them around ~£1.5m
Tynecastle is not an artificial pitch. It’s a Deso pitch, for every 5 blades of grass there is a blade of plastic “grass”. This does reduce wear and tear but won’t solve any problems that are caused by lack of light or growth. I’m not a fan of artificial pitches but if there is a major underlying problem (drainage, thatch or root zone) then from a purely money point of view it might be worth it.0 -

If you have Twitter mate best bet is to download it, it's free and you just link it in with you Twitter contacts, I know it would be murder watching the game from a mobile prospective but when you live 500 miles from dens anything is better than nothing.

It's a live streaming site that Twitter do, basically you can watch anyone that streams anything anywhere. Just started using it and thought it would be useful for the games so people can watch.
