    And if Craigy / chuckles hadn't bought them what were the alternatives?

    Aah, the Blue Knights....they were squeeky clean.

    A FORMER Blue Knight who tried to buy Rangers has been ordered to hand over £6.5million to the owners of his old firm.

    Paul MacKenzie was told to fork out the cash after sending a dodgy sick note to a judge in a bid to avoid appearing in court.

    The 43-year-old entrepreneur, who made headlines for his role in the consortium who tried and failed to buy the Ibrox club in 2012, was sued for allegedly breaking the terms of a severance package.

    It was claimed MacKenzie broke an agreement with his old debt recovery firm now owned by a US tycoon by working with a rival company.

    MacKenzie tried to avoid appearing in court on November 18 by sending a sick note claiming he was suffering from mental illness.

    But in his written judgment at the Court of Session in Edinburgh yesterday, Lord Doherty called it invalid.

    He ordered the businessman to pay the cash to Kilmarnock firm MacKenzie Hall Holdings, adding: While I recognise the sum sued for is a very large one and that the proper measures of damages is in issue, the defender has only himself to blame for not appearing at

    the proof.

    MacKenzie sold the shares in his business for more than £10million in January 2012.

    But the judge said he admitted he has now lost most of that through spread betting on the financial markets and through gambling.

    Seems it is only crooks that want to buy them. Shame.

    Should Murray be amongst the accused?

    If the evidence is there then hammer him.

    Simples.

    Agreed.

    But my point was more that the poll is 'now'.

    Even at the start of the journey I am sure at best it would've been 15/85 split.

    The noises about SDM are only recent from the bearz, but that was because he pandered to the support, trying to buy the success they demanded. And was loved for it.

    The fans are most to blame, and can some things be "fraud" when the folk allegedly duped wanted it?

    Side note.....Pro photographer at work a couple of weeks ago. Was raging after he'd gone to find out he was the son of Joanna Lumley . Oh, the question I could have asked :)

    Nah, norman, if you had ever bothered to actually pay attention to what Rangers fans were saying then you would know that most of us are highly critical of the likes of Murray though, some of the more level headed non Rangers fans have admitted this, you probably missed this too.

    Hardly conclusive.

    Up to date swamp poll , and remember this is after all his dodginess is know about.

    Yes but he had the option to carry his contract to the new company and therefor give them the chance to be sold on like edu , goian etc and therefor make money for the club. Is this arguement really starting again , have I drove my delorean back to 2012. As I said I have moved on.

    Still not getting you there old bean.

    Again you state "make money for the club".

    Run that past me one more time. Surely he would be making money for the new company if he was sold?

    I am fully aware that just because he is injured does not mean we get rid of him but what I meant is that no doubt at rangers he had access to some of the best treatment and rehabilitation to help him in his recovery , and we never expected him to stay and play in the 3rd division but a bit of respect to tupe over and let the club make some money from selling him on , if not for the clubs sake but as a thank you to the fans of which he claimed and still does to be one of. As I said maybe it was own naivity that lead to my bitterness about the situation. Not to mention the boot in the balls which was the press conference. I am willing to move on but I can't forgive him , and that's that.

    Eh, how could the club make money by selling him?

    His employers were a company facing Liquidation. The Club did not pay his wages, so wtf are you getting at?

    OING CONCERN

    The Directors are required to prepare the statutory financial statements on the going concern basis unless it is inappropriate to presume that the Group and Parent Company will continue in business. In satisfaction of this responsibility the Directors have considered the Group's ability to meet its liabilities as they fall due.

    The company's business activities, together with the factors likely to affect its future development and performance are set out in the Strategic Report. The Strategic Report also describes how the Group manages its capital, its liquidity risk and its exposure to credit risk.

    The Group meets its day to day working capital requirements through existing cash facilities, shareholder loans and finance leases. Management information tools including budgets and cash flow forecasts are used to monitor and manage current and future liquidity. The Directors acknowledge that there is a level of uncertainty in the general economic environment which may impact the trading position of its customers and suppliers.

    The Board has undertaken a recent and thorough review of the Group's forecasts and the associated risks. These forecasts extend for a period beyond one year from the date of approval of these financial statements. The extent of this review reflected the current economic environment, the Club's current and projected trading and position in Scottish football.

    The forecasts make key assumptions, based on information available to the Directors, around:

    Continued progression through the Scottish league structure. The Group's forecast assumes the Club will achieve promotion to the Scottish Premiership at the conclusion of the 2014/15 season.

    Read that bottom bit again folks, the Directors only think they are going concern if they get promotion :D

    No way in Hell should these have been signed off, they are fecked.

    Lol, saw this the other day, who knows...

    I received an unexpected update below from a normally very reliable, old friend.

    These are only allegations, of course, and I cant substantiate at all.

    Craig White has so much information on Murray and others it is meant to be astonishing. Watch this space

    Again, I cant substantiate, but I did hear from a separate, VERY reliable source early this year that there were indeed undesirable links as mentioned above.
