    Some very valid points.

for what it’s  worth, I don’t know any inside information about what’s going on but it’s clear some people do. I’ve read comments from people I know who have the clubs best interest at heart and seem to be showing support of the board and direction it’s looking to go. I take heart from that and liked the club statement about the hybrid plans for next season.

The shares issue needs clarified and sorted. That’s clearly one of a number of issues causing a rift between the Trust and the board. Those involved on both sides need to get the situation sorted and start working together. All I’ve heard/read is comments about the Trusts side of things. However I’m not going to condemn the club not making public statements about it as it risks becoming unprofessional so sometimes silence is best on such matters.

Do I personally think the fallout between trust and board will hugely impact attendance next season? No, as first off, the trust doesn’t represent all fans views and secondly if the club get the right team on the pitch and start winning games, people will go and watch.

The current feeling of being scunnered is not a new one caused by the current issues, it’s from years of having a shit product on the pitch.

I see Murray and Staurt Millar as the right people to change that next season.

'However I’m not going to condemn the club not making public statements about it as it risks becoming unprofessional so sometimes silence is best on such matters.'

It would be difficult to argue that there are not people posting here under pseudonyms on behalf of the club. Transparency and authenticity is much more professional than that approach.

I'm off a similar opinion. The whole things depressing.

My last dealings with the behind the scenes stuff was the meeting where the Trust met with the new board for the first time. A couple of the Trust didn't like Paul Hetherington but I thought at that meeting it seemed like the bad blood had been put behind them. At that point there was no more need for Diamonds for Change to be involved.  I had high Hope's that the differences could get sorted out especially as a couple of the new board were in the Trust.

I've heard rumours from both sides but personally I've tried to keep my nose out of it all. I just want to get on with supporting the club and not have to worry about the politics. Obviously there are folk on either side who don't like one another. And they don't have to. Easier said than done, I know, but I just wish they could find a way to try and work together, this tit for tat stuff isn't going to do anyone any good.

I walked away from the trust for the very same reasons, and could see the writing on the wall right from the start. I am surprised at how quickly and spectacularly things have disintegrated though. I really cannot see how things can recover now.

The irony of coming on here, throwing accusations that appear to have little substance and yet still accuse others of looking to hurt the club at the same time is staggering. However if we are (all?) right in thinking that Diamond Dave is linked to the club then it’s actually really alarming and speaks volumes as to what he thinks of us as supporters.

'Thinks of us as supporters' makes an assumption that he does anything of the sort. Last in a long list of priorities I would suggest.

Just seen this post and I feel I need to address it as I personally take great offence at this comment and feel it's claims must be answered.

I was the Trust representative that met with the Advertiser a couple of weeks ago, the Trust have always had a good working relationship with the Advertiser and in particular their last two Sports reporters who we would regularly contact.

I met with them to discuss various upcoming Trust events with the hope that they could help promoting them. To have it said that I would do or say anything to damage the Club I have supported for over 30 years is not only ridiculous but also extremely insulting to me.

I can assure everyone reading this that everything the Trust undertakes is always for the benefit of the club, its fans or the community. The Trust have been working very hard recently running various community events and we have also been doing our very best to find a way to work with the current board at moving forward without much success. This is a very hard situation for us as a collective, as we all want to do our very best to help make our club a positive role model in the community and see the team perform as successfully as possible on the field.

I like all fans am disappointed at the lack of success on the field this season, but to have this said about my role on the Trust committee is very hard to stomach.

I look forward to 'Diamond Dave' or anyone else producing this evidence to back up this claim.

    Well said Stephen

Those who question your integrity need to have a good look in the mirror.

You have greater staying power than I mate.

Yes every time there's a departure from the club up pops Diamond Dave to put his spin on the story.

The last time we heard from you you were telling us how all the dead wood had been cleared out of the board.

If the allegations are true and the trust tried to blow the whistle on those running the club, we need to understand their motivation. I don't think any of them would have been acting vindictively, more likely they have a grave concern about the way the club is being run.

Part of the job of the trust is to scrutinise the board and work to ensure it is acting in the best interests of the club and it's fans. It's an unpleasant role. It now seems any scrutiny is met with at best a wall of silence, at worse the removal of people who have put their heart and soul in to the club for years.

I come back to the unanswered question about what has happened to the Trust's shares? And the shares of other departed directors?

Nothing to see here. Move along. Everything is fine. Willie leaving the board is totally ok and not at all related to the way that PH is running the club.

Same as Gavin Spiers leaving wasn't. Same as Walter Spiers leaving wasn't. Same as Bobby Watson leaving wasn't. Same as Stuart Shields leaving wasn't.

Let's all just ignore it and back the team, eh?

Surprised the trust lasted as long. And surprised by the lack of scrutiny from the fans as to what's going on.  The vision of a consortium with wide shoulders and the welfare of the club front and centre has been destroyed from within. I'm not in the know. But what is clear is PH is no team player. He will get his way whatever it costs.

The main question now is what happens to the tens of thousands of pounds the trust and others spent buying Wotherspoon's shares.
