  1. Well he didn't do better, Lister pumped him all day long.
  2. Don't really disagree other than Martin isn't that reliable and as he's the youngster he will get more time and sympathy I can think of some poor games he's had. Will give it the benefit of the doubt and say that he was tired due to playing for scotland and the pars. Against Peterhead he looked unable to cope physically with Mcallister. Airdrie have another big physical player in Lister so hopefully he does better.
  3. From looking through match reports it seems that after the Falkirk cup game he hardly played. He was at fault that game but did play against East Fife and we won that then he was loaned out. I just don't believe that there's really much between all our centre backs apart from Buchanan. They all have weaknesses.
  4. Has he made more mistakes than Martin? If so please provide details.
  5. Top trolling from #Starkers tonight. "Islam is a dead non inclusive religion and hasn't produced anything of note for hundreds of years" "16 year old lassie to blame in teacher sex scandal" Some boi.
  6. Pubic energy solution Ep=mgh (More grey hairs) A recent hush hush experiment in the Hardron Collider in Cern involving Christopher Lee And Ian McKellen traveling beyond the speed of light was seen as a great success apart from the instantaneous death of everyone involved.
  7. Gaelic was invented by a crazy French tourist who visited the backward Isle of Mull in 567 AD. In those days the locals communicated by means of sheep slaughter and this simultaneously fixed the sheep shortage and communication issue in one. To this day nobody really understands it fully but fear stopping it completely incase sheep become extinct. You still find references to this day like the program Shaun the sheep which is an anagram of Earn Sheep Hush. Quite fitting.
  8. Scully Williamson Buchanan Paterson Whittle McAusland Wallace Geggan Thomson Stirling Barrowman If I was the manager and had a full squad I would pick the above team. Natural width, experience and quality at the back and solid in the centre with the option of the two central midfielders pushing forward when it counts. Bit of a gamble with McAusland and Paterson plus the two full backs may not be the best defensively. Great option to have Fais, Smith Falkingham, Bryne to bring on once the other team has tired. We really need to start winning the battles and doing the basics and playing a settled hard working 1-11 who knows what each other will be doing and how to play with each other. I suppose the other alternative would be something like Scully McAusland Buchanan Martin Whittle Geggan or Spence Falkingham Bryne Stirling or Thomson Moffat Buchanan To me this just goes back to exposing our problems Unbalanced fullbacks, Geggan at times ineffective, Bryne and Falkingham are too lightweight to play in the same midfield. Moffat isn't up to speed but may work with Barrowman
  9. Three signings certainly give us options and look quite sensible. Another winger or playmaker needed but only if we can afford it, let page and another couple go on loan.
  10. I miss the old nutter sammy the tammy. Going over the handlebars on his bike, made soccer am. Soaking the qots fans with a water gun. Doing the river dance in front of raging celtic fans. Sledging down the steps of the Norrie so fast that he would've probably killed anyone in the way! Stephen Pressley cardboard shoes. Driving an imaginary cardboard tank at Raith rovers fans and best of all getting reported to the police because some dafty took offence. One Raith fan said: "It was a great atmosphere in the run-up to the game. But then this clown came out in a cardboard tank and made a motion as if he was firing at the Raith fans. There was the sound of gunfire playing over the speakers too, so other people must have known it was going to happen." Glorious.
  11. STV Edinburgh, it's everything I dreamed it would be! 40,000 peak viewers, what's the point.
  12. Ugwu was harshly let go at the Pars. He was our top scorer but was a bit raw in terms of fouling and positional play.
  13. Suppose we can afford to lose a midfielder, no idea what's wrong with Forbes he should be the best player on the park every week? Don't like the idea of him going to one of our rivals though. Would like to see us sign a Davie Graham type player that can play wide and through the middle if necessary.
  14. http://fuckyeahjessicanigri.tumblr.com/ Moar!
  15. Was quite bad driving back from the fives earlier. Worst I've driven in for about ten years, stopped soon after though thankfully. Find snow quite hypnotic in the dark.
  16. I think we need someone in midfield that can win the ball with a bit of experience. Ryan Thomson is available at the Pars.
  17. hmmm bit of a meh signing. A good replacement for Ugwu but he wasn't rated at Morton.
