  1. That would be very frustrating if you were a Hibs fan, but I think it will come good. They score goals, they have pace throughout the team. We didn't defend well, but a lot of the credit for that has to go to Hibs who had us massively unsettled. Problem is you just won't win games defending like that. It's not just the defending, it was the whole game management from Hibs, trying to kill the game each time they went one up just felt like they were playing to their weaknesses rather than strengths. How many times did they give the ball to St Mirren in the final third trying to play across the back? We weren't on it at all today, but even a team playing that badly is going to score if you give them the ball in attacking positions all the time and let them put in dozens of crosses. For us, Gogic, Taylor, Boyd Munce, Strain all well off it and Mandron was the Motherwell Mandron. Tanser was decent, and O'Hara was at least there. All the subs though had a positive impact.
  2. This is a pretty big game now considering the state of the table, especially if St Johnstone win tonight. 8 points between bottom and 3rd. Whole table is basically fighting for Europe and relegation right now.
  3. Really enjoyed the game today, first time I've been down this season. Two great goals and a team that try and play a bit as well. Hopefully a good season ahead!
  4. That's the champions in waiting only 19 points off the top now. Biding their time, waiting to strike.
  5. Good result, pretty professional second half in the end, probably should have got the BP try, but it's always a good result to beat these guys.
  6. The refs just fucking told you not to do that. Show some sense.
  7. This was excellent. I like Skinstad, he's pretty fair whilst still showing just enough bias to the South Africans to not be grating.
  8. Yeah, though it was the tackler who drove up I thought, he was the "lifter", but yeah, it was the other guy that caused it to go out of control. For the first one, I think the guy had already done something similar a few minutes earlier. I actually thought that one was far less dangerous, he almost realised what a twat he was being halfway through. Yellow cards for both were ok for me.
  9. Certainly knows how to finish from the back of the maul. That was such an odd heads gone from the stormers, tip tackles are pretty retro.
  10. Glasgow's unforced error rate must be one of the highest in the league. They are very hard to watch at times. I don't mind Jordan, but I can see why a lot of fans don't rate him. He's just not a Scottish style 10, he's neither a flashy playmaker or a stoic territorial kicker, he's more a third center.
  11. Was McGowan injured? Or is he just done? I'd have thought he'd have been a better option in midfeild or in the back three than some of the guys who played.
  12. It's good to be part of St Johnstone's collapse into disaster as well. Pretty much all the Saintees posters on here are complete wankers so watching them drop down the leagues will be decent.
  13. It was such a pointless bit of shithousery. It didn't wind anyone up in a good way, just made the opposition who'd been going through the motions step up a gear.
  14. I said the same to my mate as soon as that went in they looked totally broken. They hadn't been great, but they'd been competitive and reasonably solid up till then, and we'd been poor, then a goal out of nothing and there was only one winner from there. Second goal was a bad error, beautifully finished, but we coasted for a bit after that and they looked most like scoring in that wee period until the third goal, which was a peach, but probably came as a result of Saintees behaving like complete c***s over the fake injury and throw in. By the 4th they'd long chucked it.
  15. At that last England pen I'm 100% sure you could hear the TMO telling the ref he was having a mare at the breakdown. Argentina then get the next two pens.
  16. 100% agree on the yellow at the end, really got away with that one. Think he gave both teams a bit of leeway in the mauls. The foot in touch try was the big one, I think they got it right, but there was no way from the camera angles they could be sure and I thought they'd given an onfield decision as a try, so if no clear evidence it wasn't a try, they probably should have given it.
  17. Yeah, thought the ref was good, I thought the scrum pen that led to one of the Leinster tries was wrong, but they way he reffed the breakdown suited Glasgow and we got a lot of joy from it.
  18. Brilliant result in the end, and to be honest I think the score flattered Leinster a wee bit. Need to tighten up the discipline, and a bit of a more consistent goalkicker would make these games more comfortable, but can't really argue with Jordan today, thought he was good.
  19. Period of incredible defence, Glasgow win a great turnover penalty, get up the pitch, then immediately concede a penalty for crossing and lose a try. Fucking unbelievable.
  20. Got away with it in the end, but seconds to go till half time they have the ball, not really under much pressure. Need one more phase then kick it off, bread and butter stuff, yet nobody actually goes in with the ball carrier to the final ruck. Easy turnover penalty, then 4 mins desperately defending their own line, and probably lucky not to get a yellow card before they finally manage to turn over.
  21. Glasgow's ability to shoot themselves in the foot is actually incredible.
  22. It could be what he said, but I know the word "Kant" in Afrikaans means "side" and sounds very like c**t. He could have been shouting "white side" to his teammates.
  23. Yep, absolutely 100% saw it and shat out of giving it. Was more that one player on the wrong side as well. I thought BOK was pretty much England's best player for a lot of that game, then he turned round and shafted them in the last 5.
