Not looking forward to Scotland playing this England team. Imagine us huffing and puffing against this lot and losing 15-0 to an England team who never even got into our 22.

The fact the ref isn't just giving them every decision by default isn't helping either.

Think South Africa might have taken this lightly to be honest. They are good at congratulating themselves on how clever they are, but today they've simply come up against a team who are happy to tackle them all day, scrap at every ball and kick everything and make SA do something clever for a change and they have been left looking a bit bewildered.

I hate that it's the right decision because I'd rather watch Libbok anyday over Pollard, but you see that kick and it's obviously the right decision.

I don't think England have been that dominant tbh.

Libbok was having a mare, but that's brutal.

It's been very poor from SA, especially at the maul, set piece, own breakdiwn and high ball, usually strengths.

NZ defence is very interesting, almost passive, giving up yards but pulling Argentina into traps rather than the massive linespeed the top teams usually have.

I thought that was a knock on at that lineout? Is it not a knock on if it hits the guy on the back? Gardner was very much "taking advice" from the Kiwi players on that attack as well.

Love this "spirit of the Lions" shite. For years we are told our players are just too shite and we should pipe down and get behind the guys who deserve to be there, until if course we actually do have a few players worth a shot, and it's a complete meltdown, with the Scottish players being exclusively blamed for pretty much everything, conspiracy theories about Townsend "poisoning" Gatland's mind, and Welsh fans actually trying to get Hogg suspended for a non existent eye gouge to the point where he had to actually come out and address the accusations because they were so widespread. "Spirit of the Lions" folks.

Even fans of other teams were laughing at the draw we got, loads of "always 2028 lads" stuff from English, Welsh and Irish supporters. Spain were going to win easily, Haaland and Odegaard were too good, Georgia had the Napoli wonderkid who would beat us himself and Scotland always struggle against teams like Cyprus was the general gist.

I was reading somewhere that it's now basically in Ireland's interests to lose to Netherlands, as it gives them a better chance at a nations league playoff.

I thought there was a pen for France at the end there, the ref shouting at the SA 16 to get back inside, but he'd already disrupted the ball and stopped it getting back clean.
