  1. It's been going that way all week. On Sunday Valur were 5/2. I think a lot of people were lumping on them at that point. To be honest, at this level it probably doesn't take a lot of bets to massively shift the odds.
  2. Not sure how much you can take from that, but it was fun, with some lovely tries. So much pace in that backline, they were great to watch.
  3. Ha ha, yeah, I hate that clock. ETA, it's going the right way now!
  4. Not a bad first half, looked dangerous whenever we've had the ball, which we probably haven't had enough to be fair. Richardson, Patterson, Warr and Dobie the standouts for me so far. Back row been decent in the carry, but we haven't really troubled them at the breakdown on their own ball much. Ref had a weird meltdown in the first ten mins, but fine since, though that free kick at the end was a strange one, obstruction before set up? Never seen that before as a free kick anyway.
  5. I don't even know how they can be on the wrong side of the ref, yet here we are. He's penalised everything from Scotland, including one where the guy was clearly pinned in the ruck and the ball was available, yet missed two blatant off the ball tackles before our first try.
  6. Not a great start....
  7. I'm quite looking forward to it in all honesty, I think these are the guys who need the exposure and games, and I think there are some good players there. Watch us drop the first kick off and immediately give away a penalty now.
  8. I thought it was 3 but one was suspended because he was going to "tackle school?" Maybe I misread
  9. When was the last time fans who genuinely wanted to go couldn't get a ticket for a game we were playing in? I honestly can't remember a single time beyond the couple of games under COVID restrictions? Maybe a couple of walk ups turned away at the end of last season for some of the sold out home games? The biggest problem for away games is teams refusing pay at the gate/tickets on the day so you can't make a last minute decision, it's certainly not volume of tickets.
  10. When I saw the two week ban I didn't think much of it. Only just realised they've suspended him for two pre season friendlies. Unbelievable.
  11. 1. Celtic 2. Rangers 3. Hearts 4. Killie 5.Aberdeen 6. St Mirren 7. Hibs 8. Dundee 9. Motherwell 10. St Johnston 11. Dundee United 12. Ross County
  12. I'm watching it, it's not actually all that much fun, just a bit sad.
  13. Yeah, though I think most of our strikers will score if given chances, I think it's a bit more creativity we miss. Last season Strain was the main provider when fit, but mostly wasn't fit. Tanser will chip in a bit, and CBM is decent from a dead ball but beyond that we struggled to create chances a lot of the time. I think we need someone who can beat a man and create a bit of space and put in a decent cross/pass more than we need a new forward.
  14. This is a lovely collection of goals, but they have left out everyone's actual goal of the season.
  15. That is some incredible stuff from a ref that's already having an absolute shocker.
  16. Another magnificent display of officiating in the top 14 final as they completely ignore a blatant forward pass in the build up to the first try because they were desperate to send somebody off instead. Ref pretty much only has eyes for one team again and the game will be over by half time. Bit depressing.
  17. Starmer has already said this. GB Energy won't generate or supply power. It's an "investment vehicle", which will be mostly "invisible to consumers". It'll be used to funnel public money into infrastructure projects driven by the existing energy companies themselves, presumably to take some of the profits back when they come.
  18. The list of players who have been written off on this thread could make a good thread of it's own.
  19. That is unreal. That's Scottish rugby's finest moment in the pro era.
  20. They are sending him off.
  21. Yeah, it shouldn't have stood, he was tackled and never released the ball. Horrendous officiating, but it was always going to be very biased towards the home team today. Glasgow would have known that.
  22. Fucking fair play Glasgow. What an effort to get back in this.
  23. Yeah, this is going to be a humping. To be honest, it was slightly inevitable, a week is never going to be enough to travel to SA and adequately prepare for a match at altitude. I don't know what the alternative is though, and everyone new the rules.
