Apparently this is outside her house, although I have no idea if that is actually her house or not.
Clearly some people don't understand what "successful businesswoman" means.
Ann stays in Cardrona, near Peebles. This isn’t the same house. She may own another however.0 -
There’s an acceptance of absolute mediocrity at this once great club, this isn’t about not beating a part time team yesterday, it’s 5 years in the making. Disastrous managerial appointments, recruitment has been beyond woeful, a current group of half hearted cowardly journeymen only here for a sizeable wage packet....no one at any other club would want to pay money for.
Our youth system is not producing either.
We have(as a club) have completely lost our focus and our long suffering and loyal supporters deserve infinitely better than this.
This current team has nothing. No personally, no character, it’s beyond eye bleeding.
These cosy nostalgic appointments(Neilson is the latest one)really burn my piss too...We need forward thinking people at the helm, Leveins legacy is the stench that still lingers.2 -
Linesman must of had perfect view of that also, stonewaller missed.

You'd certainly never see someone like Gary Mackay-Steven doing anything, that's for sure...

Queens were excellent tonight, loads of energy and endeavour.
Robbie Neilsons a sore loser and he can f**k right off using the pitch as any type of excuse. Hearts fans deserve so much better than this absolute drivel we witnessed again tonight.5 -
He looked like he had impeded the progress of his opponent, which is a foul, regardless of intention.
Watch it again, there is literally no foul from Kingsley. He didn’t impede the forward in any way...If anything it’s a free kick to Hearts.0 -

Had a quick peek on that Hearts kickback forum and looked at the match thread. Jesus there seems to be a lot of helmets there, have they been watching the same Hearts that the rest of Scottish football has seen the last 2 years? Thinking they have a right to turn up and stick 5/6/7 past us . Yes Hearts got 5 at Tynecastle, but we were in the middle of our very bad patch (still managed to score 3 as well), but I reckon this will be a much different game. Here Hearts may well turn up and stick another 5 by us, that’s football, but the billy big baws attitude when they’ve already lost at Dundee and Dunfermline, struggled at Arbroath by all accounts makes me chuckle when they think they’ll rock up at another ground and it’ll just be a walk in the park.
For us I’ve said earlier, I think McGavin will get a start in place of one of the 3 that play behind Dre. Also see in the match preview Craig Moore is back training which is great news, could be like a new signing going into the last round of matches.
In the here and now, this Hearts team isn’t good enough to be scoring 4/5 every week and running over teams. We have loads of experience, probably a couple of hundred international caps throughout the squad and players that more than enough ability to be winning this league comfortably. However, it’s not ability or reputation that wins you games, its work ethic, hunger, desire and application more than anything else. That’s the main reason we are where we are.
Kickback is full of helmets as you say, but Hearts fans deserve far, far better than the dross that’s we’ve been served over the last few years. We’ve continually backed the club, ploughed in millions of our own money and when you see what’s it’s been wasted on in terms of player recruitment, it’s been an absolute shambles. I’m not sure we have any sellable asset on our books that could raise much cash if needed.
I doubt with the conditions tonight we’ll see much silk on show, that’s why I think it will be a long night for us again. Hope to be proved wrong however.

This is a bang average Hearts team, Ayr should have nothing to fear especially at home. We have really struggled with teams getting right in our faces and if Ayr have been doing their homework, that’s how they should approach it.

Decent stats. A 6ft 4 striker and Berra back in the team, that can only mean one thing. Hooooooffffff

Is it in view from the sea? Maybe a lamp stand to welcome someone home? Or the home of an old German spy signalling to submarines. Maybe a bit small for that.
It’s on my neighbours house in Scottish Borders so wouldn’t have a nautical connection. Could possibly be a support bracket for some type of scaffold but really don’t know.0 -
You could jump off it when Hearts get relegation confirmed.

Another big black mark against Levein in terms of recruitment and his man management....he’s getting much more wrong than he is right, patience is wearing thin.

This could possibly be an old building trade reference but thought it was more general.

Penny wise, pound foolish?
Afraid not. I could be about 12 words long.
It's something like...
Don't ruin the tra la la la la's, for the sake of the tra la la la las.
The tra la las indicate the words i don't know.

Spending a penny to save a pound? Cut off your nose to spite your face? You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear?
Yeah right ball park but not the saying I had in mind(or not as the case may be).As Ghandi used to say: Dont put skanky anaglypta on your ceiling, Mrs Gupta.
I think theres a lesson in there for all of us.
Plus, painting the woodwork before skimming the walls?
The lesson I've learned is do not become a painter and decorator, rancid profession.
Fear not, won't be lifting a brush before place is ready for me. Ceiling, walls then wood as it's aye been.0 -
Currently decorating a customers living room, walls been stripped ready for plasterer, woodwork getting painted, brand new stove and hearth, fresh carpet going down, rooms gonna look great once finished right?
Except....the utterly rancid anaglypta that's been on the ceiling since the 80's is being retained, despite my recommendation to do the whole job properly all at once (getting ceiling stripped then skimmed etc).
They're spending all this money on other aspects yet leaving the ceiling which ruins the whole fucking job.
There's a common saying for this scenario.
Something something for the sake of some other fucking something or other.
Losing the heed at not being able to remember this.0 -
McGregor and lafferty are definitely more than a bit cuntish, but they're both winners, something we've been severely lacking with some of the utter fairies we've had in our ranks of late.

The biggest plus is that he's been playing games, that's the only way that he can kick on. Hope he does get loaned out again as festering in a back up team, no matter who it is, won't improve his chances of progressing long term.
